This thread is really funny lol.

I'll also be laughing next year when I start seeing the "I sold Litecoin at $5 feel bad for me" posts. There is a lot of misinformation here and little substance.

If litecoin rally to $50 or higher, bitcoin will probably go up even higher in term of percentage.

And if bitcoin do bad, litecoin will do even worse based on historical evidence.

I agree with you 100%. The double edged sword is that Litecoin is tied to Bitcoin, for better or for worse.

IF they're dead officially then be it..whats up with you!? you lost your coins?
It's just funny, because SOME litecoiners act so elitist, even though LTC is just one of the thousand clonecoins at this point.

Stop with the connection propaganda. It worked well to suck up the noobs who were getting into crypto. Litecoin is not a brother/sister/orphan/silver or anything to do with bitcoin as markets are evolving.

Innovate or get left out.

Sigh

Tell me to stop with the propaganda and you link that article  Roll Eyes

Most of the people that write speculation articles like this have no in depth knowledge of the complexities of a crypto-ecosystem.

But hey, lets wait another month or two and see if it is truly decoupled. I mean I could be wrong just as much as you.

Weak hand get shaken out usually help the fundamental. Problem is, litecoin has no usage and no media attention.

In altcoin land, performance is relative to age of coin. Table not meaningful without age imo.
i.e. a brand new coin all hyped up could be high +ive % simply because its a week old. In a month it could be dead.

Too much logic in your post.

Swear I read this exact same thread (or 20) last year..

Hi all,

Appears that LTC is crashing but so is BTC and so many other alts. IMHO Litecoin has a huge fan base in the most populous country - China. I doubt they are just going to roll over and accept their losses. I am pretty sure that there will be a small revival coming in the near future. Not that i trust LTC or anything, but if you are a trader... good time to buy! Grin

Buy when there is blood on the street.

There is plenty of people giving up litecoin, so if the coin is to survive long term, this may be the time to buy at rock bottom price.

Agreed, but remember that crypto market in China is dying slowly. The central bank try to kill every possible way to exchange Yuan to Bitcoin and other VCs. That's the reason i think LTC can't have a bright future.

To be honest, i have always doubted that China would clamp down on crypto for the simple fact that selling mining machines / chips is a very lucrative business opportunity. Clamping down on crypto would mean that they are sawing off the same branch that they are sitting on!

I believe they spread FUD in the hope that people panic sell and they can pickup as much BTC they can lay their hands on. This amount would be re-invested back into the economy. Really, if China had to clamp down on crypto, they would have banned them by now!

Imho, it seems silly to say that this is rock bottom prices, when a Litecoin was worth only a few cents less than a year ago.

This looks like a correction following this winter's pump.
