Should i ltc sell or buy more ?

Will litecoin rise up or go down ?

Ask yourself this. Is a bitcoin clone with no unique features of it's own and constant downpressure from ASIC owners selling at any price trying to get ROI, a good buy? Exactly, it's not, and that's exactly what Litecoin is.

No one knows where the bottom is, but it has a chance to return if you want to risk, and to buy and waiting for a good price for sale

Doge is at number 2 in this ladder, I think we will have some big surprises in the near future about both coins.

The question is why should you go for LTC at that when you have
  • MYR, with several times the potential, doing real innovation, which you can buy at super low price.
  • VTC, which is committed to be ASIC-proof and shipping with stealth addresses.
  • Some CryptoNote coin, which are a whole new world.

All those hold more potential than LTC and you can buy them for less than LTC, besides adding something important to the mix.

- Vested interest and emotional attachment (it's hard to sell when you have to take a loss, but at some point there will be no other choice).

You know devphp, considering how the concept of cryptocurrency is a disruptive innovation, I am very surprised by how those users want to keep the status quo. Posted the very same concept on reddit only a couple hours ago.

Yes, they have a hard time understanding that in software, which is crypto, it's innovate or die. They keep mentioning the network effect and don't know much else. Well, I agree, the network effect is important, but only up to a certain point.

...bitcoins. That's the only coin the whales are really after.

I think you figured it out right there.

Dropping over 1000% in price since November with no upswings isn't "dying slowly"  Grin
