Dogecoin strikes back!

Doge hashrate has increased 7x from yesterday (470 MH/s as of this moment) with auxPoW feature introduction and keeps growing, on the way to reach that of Litecoin. 51% attack FUDsters can shut up now. Doge will be as good as Litecoin in hashrate or better because it can accept other scrypt pools hashrate, but it stays significantly undervalued compared to Litecoin. Expect a jump to at least 100 satoshi before or around the time of reward halvening in 2-3 weeks, and that's just the first of the series of deadly blows to Litecoin. By the end of 2014 Litecoin and Doge market caps are equal.

Open tread with dogecoin but true price of doge strike up and still rissing slow.

It doesn't solve any existing problems.

It doesn't have to.

Two guys were hiking through the jungle when they spotted a tiger who looked both hungry and fast. One of the guys reached into his pack and pulled out a pair of tennis shoes.

His friend looked at him “Do you really think those shoes are going to make you run faster than that tiger?”

I don’t have to run faster than that tiger, his friend replied. “I just have to run faster than you”.

I don't see any correlation between Doge and LTC except that LTC has dropped significantly and than Doge has additionally risen because there were disgruntled LTC investors who were sicking for another coin to invest in and doge coin was right in time

I was actually pointing to the correlation between Doge and Bitcoin. LTC is dead meat already.

True, Dogecoin went up over 50% in price recently, while Litecoin just continues to decline.

about the same as BTC, and still up on DRK from DRKs peak.

What is it with you and X coins? You have that other phony account where you cheerlead for Monero.

Are you gonna have a DRK/XMR exchange, called ButterX?

Actually, seeing as this is third time I have posted this after you deleted the others. I would like to accuse you of dishonesty and of lying. Very silly, darkota, and your reputation is not one of a cheeky scoundrel with a quick sense of whit.

It's one of "moron".

Dishonesty and lying? I stated that Litecoin was down 7%. I stated nothing else concerning Darkcoin or Bitcoin. I deleted your post because it doesn't concern this Topic.

Litecoin has been going down regardless of Bitcoin's price, while Bitcoin rebounded during May, Litecoin did not and continued to fall. That means that Litecoin is not going up in price during Bitcoin price rises, which means it is not the "silver to Bitcoin's gold", more like the rotting iron to Bitcoin's stainless steel.

If you ask me, Litecoin squandered it's 2nd place position for far too long.

I think people live under the misconception that LTC was supposed to stay above $10 forever. If you're going to pump a coin again, you'd ideally need some new tech developed for the coin, or anything really. LTC has literally nothing going for it. LTC will soon be forever replaced by coins like VIA and/or BTM, and then those will be replaced by new ones sooner or later. Just live with it.

Maybe the word "innovation" is misused here. But I do not see much difference between LTC and BTC except for block time and mining algorithm. There is not much work around LTC at the moment.
