There were altcoins that came out before Litecoin... "That succeed", in what world?

But LTC has only that it is "the old one" and a lot of people invest money on it. For example DRK has many more features and overtaken LTC.

Any coin that wants to succeed shouldn't be anonymous...   Coin that's transparent has the best shot

Current market cap is $128,668,972. That's 1/7 of a billion and even that is not hard invested cash (from outsiders), but rather mostly paid energy costs fees for mining (paid by cryptocurrency scene members).

But there were only around 300.000.000$ VC invested in BTC startups. So even calculating 1/2 of this to the LTC marketcap wont help to come up with the proposed number of 1 billion $$$$$$.

Take the historic price of litecoin and chart it. If you see see a line going down it is not, if it is going up then it is. This is the way to an educated guess. The rest are opinion pieces based on feelings and other non mathematical variables.

it suffers from high inflation (30% annually) which fucks up the price. Not much more. It's as dead as bitcoin.
