It's as dead as bitcoin.
Bitcoin is far away from being dead . Your assumption is plain absurd.

BTCchina has fees so its not fake volume so mad such grumpy Funny, cause OKcoin is the biggest exchange, and it has no fees for trading. So yes, the volume of Litecoin is faked.

Exactly all altcoins are scams to extract bitcoin so they can be sold causing BTC price to go lower... It will continue until people smarten up. Bitcoin will now slowly be destroyed

LTC and BTC have what most other altcoins not have: A lot of Trust behind it. LTC will be the Altcoin of Altcoins for years to come. Buying and mining LTC

I find it amazing people don't just dump every LTC they have. What is the reasoning it will stick around? Go read about the next 20 altcoins and each one will have far more innovation and features than LTC.
Starting with the top you have Bitshares.
10 second block times. Soon to be released features that give it same functionality as Ripple with the User-Issued Assets. Market pegged assets. (BTC38 - a well known Chinese exchange is allowing people to deposit CNY with bitCNY - woah thats HUGE) Blockchain inflates at a rate less than BTC mining while spending all that capital on marketing and development for the network as opposed to giving it to electricity and mining hardware companies. Operates on a small fraction of the power consumption that LTC and BTC do. Will scale to transaction levels higher than BTC.

innovation lol....only innovation sold here is innovation for the sake of innovation as a marketing push for yet another shitcoin. LTC has average trading vols greater then any other alt, or many times greater then all alts combined. most fiat currencies get their value now via being exchange floated currencies, cryptos are now starting to gain value in the same way. LTC has trust well over and above any other crypto currency that exist, wasn't created to make the devs money (like 99.9999% of alts) and even over bitcoin has a know creator and devs. you say it amazes you people don't dump every ltc they have lol......lets be honest here most mine, trade and dump all other alts to get litecoin (and/or bitcoin)....well atleast the smart ones do.

LTC went down over 10 times from it's all time high price. It has no innovation, no community, no devlepment, no support. It's worthless.

By that logic BTC will soon be gone too.

The difference is BTC was first and has the network effect. Litecoin solves no problems or has any practical daily use over Bitcoin, the issue of BTC transaction times is moot, there are many 3rd party solutions to deal with the slow transaction times now. The dream of LTC being a cpu-minded, truly decentralized coin is dead too. So why keep it around? In a better world it would have been peercoin that pumped to a multi-billion dollar market cap last year, at least it brought something new to the table.

Litecoins strength is in that it's btc but it's not btc. It has a strong network, fast transaction times, and a solid brand as far as crypto goes. You may not see value in that, but many other people do. As long as other people do, that's all that matters. People have been declaring bitcoin AND litecoin dead for years now, but they both just keep goin. Always the same arguments too.

I'd also argue that Litecoin has the second largest community behind Bitcoin. (and possibly Dogecoin)
