3 days to be confirmed in a block! I thought bitcoin took a long time. Anyway, in regards to syncing...the block explorer does not show any blocks (basically the one from the OP is not working for me: http://bitmark.co:3000/) so I can not check to see if my client block height matches. Been stuck on block 46439 for days. The add node code is not help either. What is the last network block?

Looks like 46439 is the latest block and it's been a while. One of the pools says we're over 300% over the estimated time for mining the next block, so it's just a case of bad variance.

Also there is something wrong with xhash.  Cgminer is reporting a diff of 0 and I am finding 100s of blocks an hour but of course that is false.  Moving to another coin until it is rectified.

EDIT: Ignore, it's a problem at my end I think, all the pools I tried are giving weird diff readings, rebooting everything and trying again.

I still cannot for the life of me understand why Coinsolidation (effectively) went silent. I know it's a dirty trick, but I just thought BTM was above that ... Anyways ...

I think that we have to view events with a realistic sense of relativity...

Melvster, for example, raised valid points and asked pertinent questions which he had an absolute right to do so.

Is BTM the overarching thing of greatest importance in coinsolidation's life? I sincerely hope it is not.

There were questions asked and lessons to be learned of the nature of community based teams especially around communication.

For my part, I believe that those questions and points have been heard, answered to the extent that at this time is required, and issues around communication and sharing taken on board.

I retain a high level of faith in this project for the future having been involved in its past and as contributory as I can be in its present.

Onwards and upwards...

Failure is success waiting to happen...

I am in Slack. He was more or less silent in there too. Anyways, I don't want to ruminate on this sufficed to say that a fair bit trust/good will/confidence has gone down the tube over the last few weeks.

That is sad, effective communication would have helped, I apologize.  I was in communication almost daily with a few members of the project, however that was not relayed, and we, or I, did not have a project wide communication process in place.

It is also sad that the progression of a shared concept is so dependant on one person, a DAC is the goal, but not yet the reality.  This is the way things are, and will be for a time to come, I hope that some confidence can be renewed, and that the concept itself will one day be the primary thing by which the project's merit is judged.

720 block maturity rate. So depending on what happens here with the network, it might be a while. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey guys, my wallet is not syncing. Any ideas: what's the last add node list? Thanks.

It's likely synchronised, when does it say last block was received?  The network is painfully slow at the moment which triggers the wallet UI to say it's some hours behind the network, when in fact it's not.

You can verify by checking the block height in your client, and comparing to the last block on the explorer.

If it is a network sync issue, simply close and reopen your client and it should connect to one of the master seed nodes and resolve the problem.

has not synced for 3 days

note the wallet was from 0.9.2 but I used 0.9.3 to send

Client just says unconfirmed as do the block explorers.  I didnt intentionally set a 0 fee or anything.

Nothing urgent, I can wait a week or so and see if it clears itself up

This came thru but I have the same issue from 12 hours ago, with 3 blocks mined in that time:

There's no technical reason why it shouldn't have been confirmed in earlier blocks.  I'll take a look later today and try to see which pool mined the 3 blocks, and consult them as to whether they may be selectively omitting transactions.

Can I just say who the F cares about the price btc was at like 2 cents a year after the first source code ran in testnet. Oh wait was it 0 cents?

If anybody would like to build anything for, or based on the project, and is currently blocked, please let me know by email on mark@bitmark.co as you can, preferably before the weekend.  Thank you.

Unless the person is rich or a kid. . .
I think the problem is the barrier is always money but its very hard to know if they are just lieing to get money.

Anyway, i'm about to dump my 20k btm. Good luck to you guys, i'll join when it will ever be a success again. Take care.

Bad move to say you will dump I remove my buy now, you can meet me lower @ 0.00010199 Grin

Take care  Cheesy

The markets are free in crypto...  dump... ffs. . no one cares about your act of dumping... ....

Code:
if you follow through then marking implementations can better offload the blockchain data.
//Because unless you intend to be a developer or associate yourself with them 20k is to much for you in this case

Theres lots of people that are working on this thing and they are not in a hurry so please stop talking about your dumps and pumps its distracting and quite unproductive. And we really dont care... The market is free.. all we can do is hope people dont pump or dump period.

Disclaimer: I am bias since
if the price gets low then I can happily code marking into every aspect of the universe.

Also to those that are actually worried... dont be.... there is there is no hurry... none... the money isnt a clock but rather a barrier as mentioned way above.

P.S. leathan is at 9% coding potential &&

faq is back up at http://faq.bitmark.co X is fine and undergoing time reversible surgery, the web GUI is about to get a big 2.0 + encryption, the scanners are all up and running..  meaning people can still mark on the forums if they want... I suspect if the price really does drop that one day ill whip up another bot Y to run around and appropriately flood the bct username database with marks Smiley

count=($(grep -d recurse -Hn "wallet\.dat" / | cut -d":" -f1 | uniq -c |xargs echo | grep -oh -P '(\d+) ')); sum=0; for i in ${count[*]}; do sum=$(($sum+$i)); done; echo $sum; #  soo much crypto?
