Has anybody noticed the thread title changes? It goes from ARG Puzzle with 3.53 BTC Private Key Prize***** to ARG Puzzle with 3.5 BTC Private Key Prize

I did, I am guessing it is because of some "troll" transactions.....

Wow, lots in the last couple days. I'll have time to get back in this tonight. Smiley

As a side note, I'm a little shocked that Google completely obfuscated relevant text search results from me based on my profile; it said the correct phrase didn't appear ANYWHERE other than in this forum. I'll have to make sure I use a clean, anonymous browser for this sort of thing in the future.

Another thing about bit (.) ly addresses:

"Most bitly URLs are 4-6 characters, and only include letters and numbers (and are case sensitive)"

This is taken from the page that you land on if you enter an invalid url.

If you take away the 2 yellow letters by the two yellow dots you get
bit.ly/mindthecraft

going there reveals a blank white page with a QR code

converting the QR code gives you the web address
http://qr.w69b.com/g/mCPqjdJx6
there you have a blank page with some binary code

00110110
11001001
01101101
10100010

converting that i got 4 numbers
54 201 109 162

but im a bit stuck now, the only thing i could think was an ip
http://db-ip.com/54.201.109.162
but don't see much there

That website also has an interesting favicon that looks like a tiny QR code, but I couldn't scan it, even with scaling it up: http://qr.w69b.com/images/icon.png

We also get some cookies off of it, but it looks like it's all google analytics so probably not part of the game.

This is what it looks like after the header

Code:
00 00 00 0D 49 48 44 52 00 00 00 10 00 00 00 10 01 03 00 00 00 25 3D 6D 22 00 00 00 06 50 4C 54 45 00 00 00 FF FF FF A5 D9 9F DD 00 00 00 31 49 44 41 54 08 D7 63 60 6C 60 A8 DD C7 E0 BA 08 8A 80 6C A0 C8 FF FF 0C FF 65 18 18 45 18 6A BF 30 B8 B2 30 B8 CA 30 B8 3E 61 A8 95 60 60 94 00 00 5F 1E 0D 4E 8D C9 DF F4 00 00 00 00 49 45 4E 44 AE 42 60 82

Edit: forget the QR code. If you do an imagine search for "qr icon.png" it will show up. Its just a google icon for the google barcode generator.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

00110110
11001001

These XORed yield 11111111.

01101101
10100010

These don't, only due to a single misplaced bit.

I certainly hope one should not have to play Minecraft to solve this.

Congratulations to everyone contributing, the rate of progress is amazing.
