Okay, I've finally looked around the site a little more and found where it lists all my blocks and subsidy rewards, so now I understand it much better. Nice.

On a side note, I would suggest using an appropriate HTML page title for each page rather than the same generic one everywhere. It makes it much easier when I'm going through history, bookmarks, etc., to figure out which specific page I'm looking for.

Yesterday afternoon, I'm still having issues with it. Cgminer constantly says waiting on fresh work and my mh/s rate drops considerably when that happens, guiminer just says connection problems every 10-15 seconds.

I switched to my other pool, bitlc.net and it just posts accepted shares, no waiting for fresh work. Hash rate increases too.

I'm still getting tons of rejects here, I'll try to get you a screen shot

goto http://p2pmining.com:9332/static and click on graphs to see how your miners compare to others to figure out if it is on your side or the pool side.

I do get a little higher rejection rate with p2pool than with a regular pool

i am currently compiling the other crypto currencies to be merged mined.  I need to compile them on a local machine and then upload the binary to the VPS because of memory restrictions and lack of swap space. It is a pain but I think that I have a plan that will work.

I will be putting these online this weekend so you may see some bumps in the server.

Here is the list of currencies so far ->

bitcoin
namecoin
ixcoin
i0coin
devcoin
litecoin
liquidcoin

Any other currency suggestions?

I am also looking for a good deal on a good VPS and am looking for suggestions.

Maybe it's been this way since the beginning, I don't know, but I just noticed it the other day and my hash rates are lower as well as the temperature of the gpus, I'm assuming because they are waiting for work? Here is the SS:

Also, anytime I try to manual payout, it says invalid signature when I copy the signature from above it.

I considered doing this as well... but I wasn't really sure what the point of it would be.  I'm not crapping on your pool or the idea, I'm glad someone has done it... but what is the ultimate goal?

I thought the point of P2Pool was to get away from aggregate pools, so isn't this just trading bitcoind for p2pool and everything else remains the same, or is something missing from my analysis?

It's for people who are too lazy to run a p2pool node, or people who can't deal with the increased variance.

People like me!  I am too lazy to run anything.  And I am gonna move my rigs to this pool now and give it a try.

9 Ghash on the way.

I buy and sell GPUs, most 5850s and 7970s.

hmmmmmmm how come I can submit a LOT more shares per minute on *a different* pool then on this?  It seems super slow.  I will still give it a shot though.

Reduce intensity below 9 and set cgminer to use only one thread per gpu.  This seems to work better on p2pool

Works for me.  I just did a manual payout using version 0.6 of bitcoin-qt to sign the message.  Make sure there are no extra spaces when cutting and pasting.

I don't know what the other pools set as there difficulty.  Mine distributes difficulty 1 shares.  Pool operators can set their share difficulty to anything they want.

set intensity to 8 and threads per gpu to 1

for cgminer: -I 8 -g 1

Changing the intensity fixed it!

IXCOIN merged mining is almost here.

You can now go and register your ixcoin address before the first coins are distributed.  Some coins have already been mined and will be distributed as soon as I activate it in the next day or two.  The coins already mined will get distributed proportionally to the work submitted on the Bitcoin block being worked on when I activate ixcoin.

Happy Mining

Wow, you just gave me a reason to stop mining at bitparking, I can mine all these coins and support p2pool at the same time. Great!

Edit:

It would be cool if we can see which miners were the MM Block finders. Actually, having more stats in general would be cool.

Yeah! It's all coming soon.  I want to get all the coins mining first and then I am going to add all kind of stats week by week.  I do need to get the hashrate up on the pool to help pay for the server a little.  I am going to need to upgrade the server again to support litecoin and liquidcoin. Anyone want to help get liquidcoin to support merged mining with litecoin? There must be a way you can use some of the same merged mining code already in place on the other merged mined crypto-currencies.

By the way, I am going to test some other setting on my miners to get the rejects and stales down.  results to follow.
