People invest/divest all the time.
That's part of the appeal.

It's best to keep it in long-term but everybody can divest and/or withdraw at any time.

Sometimes people even divest 100 BTC when a whale is playing then reinvest when he's gone. Doesn't make sense because most will just time it wrong, but everybody is free to do so.

In regards to todays uncovering of the dicebitco.in scam, I want to remind everybody to actually verify your bets every now and then. On any site.
I highly doubt even 1% of players do it. That's the reason why scammers get away with it. Nobody cares..

So here is how to do it on PRC:

1. Do a bet (obviously)
2. Click the "provably fair" tab, click "generate" to get a new server seed and display the old one

3. Go to the verifier (you can check the sourcecode of course)
4. Copy the values as stated:

Starting nonce is just the number of the bet you want to start with
Number of Bets is obvious
5. Click Verify and compare to your rolls on site:

If these match, all is fine.


Safe betting everyone!

This process should be pretty similar on every site that claims to be provably fair. Check it for your own safety!

Funny you should say that, because just a couple of months ago PRCDice was running untested code written by the new guy. The code made it possible for players to win in the long run by generating high rolls more often than low rolls.

If you're going to express pretend shock that a site would deploy untested code, don't be surprised when someone points out that the site you support has recent history of doing exactly the same thing!
