Sorry for delay in updates/site going up.

I've been double checking everything, making sure every satoshi is accounted for here.

Still need to run more tests and to be honest this could take all night.
It's 12am where I am, I've not slept in around 40 hours.
I'm going to run these final tests during the night and open things again in the morning.

Again sorry for the inconvenience. Your coins are 100% safe.

Good one Dean, I'd like to know what the issue was once your done. Transparency and all that shit.

Ladies, Gentleman, trolls and gentleman scammers (Manl). Here is how I see it. Dean has a few bugs. None are hackable bugs (I tried already), they are normal programming bugs which can be resolved - albeit, in this case with a bit of database updating to make everything add up. If you want to troll about buggy software think about the massive bug in linux driven sites when the ssl memory bleed bug that existed right up until the start of this year! Any knowing attacker could have used HTTPS to bleed out the memory of a linux system which on a dice site would contain account details and SEEDS! That is a bit more serious than deans bug yet no one trolled any dice site about that. Deans coding problems seem pretty small compared to those issues.

And speaking of bad code, has anyone read the bitcoin code? It's probably the worst code I have read since... well.... the stoned virus. We all should be trolling on the fundamental system that runs this currency. It is pretty messy code and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed this. Which is weird because it is the code that you all exist on. So better go sort that shit out first before worrying about a guy who is trusted in the community.

It doesn't take a twisted view, just ask Dean over PM. You're wasting your time. He's aware of the problems and really doesn't need your help (believe it or not). If it concerns you that's fine, but it's not your concern. PRC has ran fine for 18 months without you and will probably continue running without you, that's my point. Gamblers and investors can determine their own levels of risk using PRC without your less than helpful "help".

uv is right, open just-dice and console the dicebitco.in investors. It would give you something better to do.

It ran as a shitty poker site that Dean wanted it to be.

And have PRC drop down to under 100 BTC invested

Hey UV, I see you only have 94 troll points, but doog has over 1100. You are less of a troll than I thought you were. I want to see more trolling from you.

Note: number of forum posts = Troll points != awesome status

Here is how I see it. Dean has a few bugs. None are hackable bugs (I tried already), they are normal programming bugs which can be resolved - albeit, in this case with a bit of database updating to make everything add up.

This most recent bug was apparently allocating site profits incorrectly. Dean hasn't told us anything about it yet, but I'm sure it would have been exploitable.

He says he only noticed it when an unexpected server issue happened. If he wasn't running on unreliable servers who knows how long it would have taken for him to notice, and whether someone malicious would have noticed and exploited it first.

The heartbleed vulnerability wasn't a Linux issue; it affected anyone using the OpenSSL libraries.

Do you think people didn't ask about and try to exploit heartbleed on other dice sites? Lots of people "trolled" Just-Dice about that. It went like this:

Quote
troll: hey, did you see the heartbleed vulnerability and is Just-Dice vulnerable?
me: yes, thanks, we saw it already and we were never vulnerable to it; see [this link] for details of why

I never thought of that as trolling, but I can see from a certain point of view that bringing up concerns about a site's security could be seen that way. I generally thanked people, investigated their concern, and paid them a bounty.

dooglus has always been spot-on with pointing out the technicals and making decision calls. Very few people on here are able to cut through the sloppy BS like he does.

If anything else, the BTC community can never have enough of people like him.

I see two intelligent and so far honest site owners. Maybe too much ego here and there.

Why people can't talk to each other ?

How was I wrong about them?

I said I didn't know if I could trust them, and I still don't.
I said I didn't know the owners, and I still don't.

I'm going to run these final tests during the night and open things again in the morning.

Again sorry for the inconvenience. Your coins are 100% safe.

Any updates Dean?

Shouldn't be long now. Just about to upload the corrected database and code with fixes. Couple hours hopefully at most.

Site back up guys.

All investments/balances can be divested/withdrawn now if you like.

Extremely sorry for the delay in getting this back up.

Chat/play/invest all still working too.

I will post more details later tonight about the issue that caused the site to be off.

Check in the chat for help also.

So I assume the investments were screwed up. No idea for how many days.
But if it was for long, what do you do about the commision charged? Wouldn't it also be more(incase the invest, ents were higher during the period?)

You're right about commission being higher than it should be yes. This issue was only in effect since 14th. Commission came on 15th.
This will be refunded tomorrow.
However the commission was so low so don't think it will be much refunded, also this was the first week there was any weekly commission for almost a month and half.

Ok, and since it was from the 14th, wouldn't some investors already have withdrawn, and wouldn't that leave a site insolvent like dooglus mentioned before?

PS: Maybe you should go to bed now.

Just thought would bring another bug to your attention Dean.
The 0 Bet ID bug just happened again.

PS: Don't want to act as a bringer(if thats a word) of Bad News, But Dreama just came across another BIG bug which allowed him to stop and delay betting on the site.

Also, the BET ID 0 happened to be after Bet id 9783278(by visiting links like this and before 9783328 in the screenshot above .(and missed other bet ID's as they were very small value bets)
I browsed through the bets and rolls between those ID's, and none of them had the roll 70.6362 or a bet by Loidy.
