UPDATE:

As you may be aware Korecoin is being taken over by the Kore Team.
This required us to recruit the people needed to make it a success.

This is mainly what I've been working on for well over 3 weeks significantly delaying
our work on the Korephone and Æther OS let alone work on/at my business.
We are confident we will be getting back to those projects soon
even adding personnel to them as well as some new projects.
Thanks to those that stepped forward in one way or another
offering their time and skills even if only temporary.
We want you to know there have been some extraordinary additions
to the Kore Team and those who are being of great help.
It's overwhelmingly beneficial finding similar Ideologically aligned quality people
some of which have their own projects and are just as excited and feel
the same honor from this opportunity to be working together.

KORE (and more) STRONG!

MikeMike

Have a great weekend everybody!

If you are able to contribute even some small bits of BTC to what
we are bringing you it could not come at a better time!

Evening all.

Blocks have been flying the last 3 days. A bit slower today, but I have probably seen more stakes the last few days than the 10 before that.

If I get the time I might throw a graph together to show the blockrate and improvement we have achieved over the last fortnight. Or do we have a block explorer that will show that for me?

I am still going to post a seperate 24/7 stake address. I want to run this as another QT though not just another address in my personal one (prefer on the same PC). I guess worst case I can run a VMS

I believe you can run another QT with a couple of changes to the conf specifying another data dir?

I will research this and have the 2nd 24/7 stake wallet up with just the donations running next week.

Your efforts have been noticed on the network, continue to help and stake when you can!

I think theres a poll somewhere aswell? I dunno  Tongue  Havn't heard much about it lol

Don't worry it has the support of MM, once I have it setup so I can never mix it up with my personal investment it will be pretty official... transparent and accountable

If the network gets back on its feet I will be happy to reimburse any donations if it is an issue for anyone.

I am finally staking 24/7. Will be setting up a gimzo 2 as a dedicated wallet. There is a linux version of core wallet right? I just have to wait to save up funds for picking up keyboard and wireless adapter and mouse for gizmo...

If you require something different you would have to compile it yourself at this stage I believe

Also thankyou both for staking!

I have tried to run a seperate QT using  -datadir=c:\insertnewdatapath

It works happily by itself and has populated the new data directory I made with its own wallet.dat and all other files. However when I open 2 QT's, one normal and one with new datadir the second QT open sits on verifying database, no matter which one I open second.

The second QT is also on another port. Not sure what the problem is, I believe it should just work at this point. Will keep having a fiddle. Would be nice to have 2 seperate QTs staking on the same PC.

FYI

BitcoinDial: Make Calls With Bitcoin!

Remember pay phones? You put a coin in, and you could call someone. No monthly contacts, or expensive hardware to keep in your back pocket. We’ve done that with Bitcoin instead of quarters. Just as private and simple, with no account setup or long-term relationship.

FYI

Thanks Rw13enlib88 a handy service indeed.

Maybe a simple service like bitcoindial for kore would also be a good idea.

UPDATE:

I've been away at a Family wedding this last week that was a few time zones away.
The Kore Team including myself have been very active during this time
refining the NDA sentence by sentence improving it to a very effective level
acceptable to new Team members, those we are collaborating with
and new people seeking the security an NDA brings.
This alone has taken numerous meetings and much time.
The result of this newly refined NDA is an open door of collaboration allowing the sharing of ideas,
tech and inventions amongst what we would call the "Kore" of the Kore Team.
We recently finished a few 5+ hour long meetings and I must say you will be impressed
with the quality individuals and potential future innovations this could bring people.

If all goes as planned we will be having another highly intelligent creative developer
accept this NDA thereby allowing even more connections and open discussion of how we
can all contribute to what we would like to bring to the CC Communities, Coders and the World.

Rather than wait till we have "the perfect coin/tech/invention etc." I'm trying to encourage the
release of what we are most quickly able to produce or complete to get the tech/etc.
in use and known. It seems most do agree on this approach.

Seriously consider supporting these projects and our developers that have devoted so much of their time,
money and life to these pursuits to be aligned with Korecoin and/or the Korephone as much as possible.
3-4 additional VPSs are currently being configured to keep as much tech in house as we can.
There are also additional Domains and Hosting that will be required as well.

Why the Æther Kripton OS was created:

"Linux creator says Windows, OS X, iOS and Android are all malware:

Richard Stallman, known for his instrumental role in the creation of Linux, has written an opinion piece
arguing that nearly any operating system you might use today can be considered malware,
and that goes for popular mobile platforms as well as desktop operating systems."

Korephone Æther OS SDK Update:

Some were having issues with errors in the SDK Main Installer Package.
This "Package" was made as an aid to those with less coding experience.
It seems some thought we were not serious about Æther OS being real.

Our Dev put up a "Manual SDK Package" on the XDA Forums for more skilled developers.
