Anyone else experiencing Blue screen of the death with windows 7 and Multiple CP2102 ? (with the zadig driver )
I'm having a USB whatever critical error ...
What is really annoying is that my PC somehow is screwing my router ... internet is loss on all my other device.
It's really pissing me off

I know I've been more than busy for a long time, and it's still the case, but yesterday, I decided to take a break for 1 hour to assemble the S3 upgrade kits I just received. And I decided to try my good old USB control interface on it. here is the result with latest CGminer from bitmaintech website: https://i.imgur.com/ubS6i9z.png?1Next step will be to check what's needed to make it work on a native S3 or an S5 Since I don't have enough hours in a day at the moment to work on it as fast as I'd like, I'll offer for download the latest files for the 2 port controller in a few days, after I review them and finally solder some of the boards I received from the latest revision. The design can be easily upgraded to allow BE200 based units interface. I'll still slowly continue the work on the 8 ports interface, at least for myself.

What's the point of mining if you're giving away $100? Good luck.

Besides the S3+, I have 5 pencil-mod RedFury USB sticks, 3 Gridseed 5chip dual mining, 2 GawFury ( Zeus ) scrypt. I use different versions of CGMiner for each of these. ( and I had 2 SHA256 Cubes, retired[ran hot]) Ran them all maxed. Still have Grids, + Furies (Usb) OCed, + 2 software OCed (Usb) r-Box, 1 OCed S3+. All but the S3+ ,are USB. That's my resume. What are your needs?

ok i been reading what you guys been doing here and I was wondering would it be feasible to connect s3 to work on s4 controller board. Dont ream me a new ass hole because i know this sounds out there. I know the parameters are different. I was wondering if the hash-boards could just be connected from s3 to s4 existing connectors by modifying the connectors.
Sounds reasonable, but, if I'm not mistaken, it's a different animal. Even if you rewired, soldered, whatever...the chips don't speak the same language. Call me out, if I'm incorrect, just my humble opinion...I think you would fry the ASIcs (or a simple nothing would occur). Then the story is done. I am curious tho. What WOULD happen? Hmmm...if ya got the money...try it. BTW: wasn't reaming, belittling, etc. Ya just got snippy when we just needed info to help.,

thank you... but this solution to reflash controller (pic32mx cpu).... i need pinout rx/tx connected to hash board with uart (cp202) - and working through cp2102 - without controllerboard hashboard+cp2102stick

You'll need 2 CP2102's though for an S3. You may need to hack cgminer a bit (again demonstrated in this thread) but it should work "out of the box", so to speak.

Almost out of the box, it seems: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=671128.msg10537640#msg10537640I have 2 C1 dead hashing boards to experiment with. I'll have a look when I'll be home, by the end of this week. It seems that the C1 boards can be plugged on the S1 to S3 upgrade kit but the 20 pins connector is flipped, so pins won't match unless you remove and flip the plastic part of the receptacle 180°. First things I noticed is that you have at least TX, RX, GND, 1.8v and 3.3v to connect, not only TX/RX/GND.

Look at the post before yours ..... and you can also get the pinout by simply poking around ..... I don't think a tx/rx connection from the CP2102 to the board on the wrong terminal will blow anything (and the permutations can not be that many either).

A: This can probably be due to the defective controller board. Just swap out the controller board with the other working miners and test this miner again. Then you can determine if controller board is the issue with the miner. And we will approve RMA for the defective controller board.
