Wow Garrett. Color me impressed. You’re one of the good ones. I downsized my portfolio considerably after the fallout from BTC-TC but I’m really glad I kept a few COGs and am thinking about grabbing a few more having been reminded how awesome are.

Keep up the great work!!

The hosting for these units was going to be piggybacking on a larger hardware order from hashfast that ineededausername and I coordinated. The 1 megawatt facility hasn't been paid for yet because the hardware hasn't arrived, therefore we are not able to piggyback on this other order's facility and are scrambling for another. It is my fault for not preparing a plan B, and it is Hashfast's fault for not delivering in November when they were supposed to, and instead of saying how much longer it will actually take, followed the BFL model and kept saying "A little longer".

LOL.  Nevermind Goat, you are very likely to be sued by the hosting company that set up 1 MW of facilities for you.  Do you have any idea of how much capital that would have cost?

And if you have such a great relationship with Hashfast why hasn't ineedausername's machines been delivered?

Esp if you are the one counting the votes.

I will publicly post hashes and vote counts, so there is no way to fake motions/votes. Do you agree?

No I do not agree. There is no way running away is going to save you from your past actions. All it will do is make it so more people, the newer inverters, can also sue your ass. You should really lawyer up.
Fairly large shareholder who bought in a while ago here.  I'm definitely up for a vote.  This company needs to be taken out of the hands of Garrett.  I've lost plenty of BTC watching this company tank, and if there's a lawsuit I'd like to get in.

I'm also in similar situation. I can give some financial support in case lawsuit route is taken. But although not deserved, would like to give this last credit to Garr and  see what happens in 5 days time.

And to add, trust is lost and I see motion for change of leadership as mandatory. Although it won't be easy to find a replacement, since I don't see many people rushing to take the hot chair...

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

This is a clarification about the law suit.

No, you do not need to be a current stock holder. What you do have to do is have lost a significant amount of wealth due to the fraud or unlawful incompetence of Garr.

If you bought shares a week ago, not what we are looking for sorry. If you held for well over a six months even if you don't hold the stock now, we are looking for you.

Thanks.

I bought over 5% of Cog at it's IPO and held the position as the stock was more and more diluted.  There were a couple times it was worth about $20k (too bad I didn't sell then) and with all the issues I finally gave up and started to liquidate last week at around .05 to .03 BTC per share.  I now have about 65 shares that I couldn't dump because there was no support.

Assuming Garr never liquidated his 10% of all shares I have no idea why he wouldn't have tried to work harder and be more transparent.  My only conclusion is that he was manipulating share price to his gain, personally mining, or engaging in a number of other activities for his personal gain instead looking out for Cognitive's best interests.

These are the most advanced chips and boards revealed to the mining industry, being sold here first!

At 3000$ for 700-800gh the above statment is not true.

This gets better every day. So even though hashfast are due much hardware to forum members, you expect to team up with them and have your own production line..... when will all the hash fast customers get thier orders?

Cognitive is funding a parallel production line of Hashfast Evo boards (http://hashfast.com/shop/sierraevo/) so as to not interrupt the Hashfast order chain.

Basically says hashfast customers are still screwed.

So they are they using investor funds to bail out one of the most failed and least reputable mining companies and are blatantly bullshitting by claiming $4/GH for an incomplete miner is anywhere near competitive.

More bullshit.

Looks like COG is trying to pull a hashfast.

it might be sarcasm i guess.

Such cynicism! Understandable I spose, but that was kinda my point. COG rises above this shit time and time again, and I was moved enough to post about it. I'm not a huge fan of posting in forums like this. Can't remember why at the moment...

Ok that last part was sarcasm.

How is the FIMB payback going over? (Now I'm serious)

When will financial statements for Cognitive be released? Cognitive the Canadian company, or is it USA registered. (Now I should really stop the slanders?)

There's just so much lost information. Cognitive Mining: The Only Bitcoin solo-mining non-functional hardware co-op this side of the Atlantic!

Here's the point.

Fuck it, there's too many to reiterate.

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.

I  wonder when will the havelock open for trade of cog again?

We are not sure exactly when Havelock will open Cognitive trading again, however Garrett has been in close communication with them, and they will likely resume trading once the hardware is in Canada hashing.

Just an update:
The six units that have just been shipped from CoinTerra are scheduled to arrive in Bozeman tomorrow, which will be immediately reshipped to Canada. The other units that have already been sent are supposed to arrive in Canada today.

Perhaps you should plead with someone who holds enough AsicMiner shares to franchise. Or take out some student loans rather than pool/divert income from shareholders.

I don't think you need to own AM shares to franchise. Just a buttload of cash.

Either way AM chips are the way to go.

Well Rockxie just made an IPO on the Gen 3 Chips so its likely you can franchise from them

Are you going to address the issue regarding hashfast?

Yes: Cognitive Mining (The corporation involved in this company) is in no way affiliated with Hashfast and never will be without raising a motion.

Cognitive (A separate entity) is one controlled by me and is involved in deals with Hashfast. This does not effect Cognitive Mining or Cognitive Mining shareholders whatsoever.

I apologize for the confusion that comes from the similar names.

The hardware (eight Terraminers) is en route to the Canadian datacenter with a scheduled arrival time of Wednesday at 12pm EST.

Best,
Garrett
