smartchain.cc is currently running from a failover machine. The explorer uses its own database that is reconstructed from the smartcoin daemon, and it has been taking some time to sync. The faster version should be back up soon.

All miners have the option to keep their SMC so perhaps not all of them were being sold off but yeah, pool turned out to be a bit high hash for SMC to handle it. The X11 selection it really pretty slim these days.

What I mean is not just a fancy app, an app that helps improving human life. Imagine an application, so-called parking-slot-surveillance, namely smart parking. You use the parking app for free in any-where in the space defined for the app and pay with SMC for parking cost, and again in any-where (the payment could be possible within the app, since the parking slot records your licence plate or could be done by an ATM-type machine particularly developed for these type of payments). You just go and check over the app if the slots are available for parking in a busy day, for example. This is just one simple example of application, where SMC can be readily implemented. Indeed, it can be any other coin as well, but just the name is good and can be exploited. Anything that involves smart-stuff-things-etc, SMC can be used. That is my point. Cheers.

PS: This can go up to a private company building these machines for profit and use any coin, including SMC. I dont know if there is any yet.
