As I said let's assume merged mining total profit as 1 = 50%+50% ... but currently software count's only 1st coin profit ( 50 % ) as base profit in profit switching ignoring second coin's 50 %. In merged mining profit is almost close to double comparing mining single coin. Like if algo is same for 2 coins and pool supoorts them and offers to mine both coins at same time (Merged mining ) .
Instead of mining separately both coins and wasting power.. we get double reward for same hashrate and power in merged mining. resulted in increased profits significantly
with single coin mining it is expecting to get 0.088$ but with merged mining profits increased to 0.77$ 8 times more... I think now it is clear why I am requesting a fix for this
Pure nonsense. Right now at zergpool it's LTC .054 + Doge .033 = .087 merged. as expected. you are talking about only 2 coin LTC and DOGE.. and only pool... may be you only know this 2 only but I already said there are some other coins are available and before talking anybullshit here.. please read msg carefully before .... check SS before replying stupidly. you will see the difference and get an idea about what I am talking...

Thanks for the detailed feedback. So basically each mining pool provides their own unique mining software?

Hello Patrike
There is one problem while using merged mining in profit switching... it does not take actual pool Revenue/Profit reported to switch between coin. Example: I am mining on a merged mining pool... actual pool profit as it show on description page is 1$ for two coins (0.5$ + 0.5$... assume) but it switches pool to another 2nd pool with 3rd coin reports profit of 0.65$ which is greater than the 1st coins profit ( 0.5$ ) .. which is actually a less profitable pool as 1st pool reporting in total 1$ profit with merged mining... before running profit switch it should consider total profit revenue of merged mining pool. will you please fix it.
Thanks for the report - I will review this scenario.

I tried to add a new address to the Wallet Balance page, and the dollar amount disappeared. This is on the latest Development preview. When I replaced the ConfigData.xml with the latest backup, the dollar amount came back. I was able to edit the ConfigData.xml file and swap an empty address for the new one I wanted to add, in the 2 places I found it, and it works fine.

Thanks for your report 1) Did the USD amount disappear for all addresses or was it only for the new address you added where it didn't show up? 2) Did any of the entries indicate "Update failed" in red text?

I have 3 sources of internet so I can swap between them when I do get "Update failed", that is not part of the problem. Thank you for looking into this.

@patrike
Feature request Zpool Non BTC Wallet address and password override box in Options > Profit Switching
Please can you add a password override option [box] in the Profit Switching section so that it overrides the default (c=BTC) for all algos under Zpool as it seems that new users and some old users are finding it hard to work out how to change this when they are not using a BTC wallet address for payout, a standard box will do for this where the user just enters the correct ticker and other options (ie Digibyte wallet address - password would be -->> c=DGB,sd=12,rignamehere) for their payout wallet choice, this would then override the default of BTC for all algos within the Zpool algos in Online Services.
This would make it more user friendly / logical, the user would not have to go to the Online Services section to update the password for all algos for Zpool with ref to their payout coin choice (non BTC wallet address) as it's all done in this one place where your entering your wallet address for the coin you want to be paid in.
** Image link removed as this stupid platform don't like the URL - Would help if there was a way to upload images to place in posts / messages .... SIGH **
Thanks.

May I request a copy of the Awesome Miner log file for this scenario? I'm not able to reproduce the issue with the blank balance display. You can collect the log file via the toolbar Tools -> Log File. You can send the file via the web site form: https://www.awesomeminer.com/contact

We do enforce authentication from now on. Please go to the Options dialog, Security section. By default you have the "admin" account you can sign in with.

after 10.0.0 online services became problematic. If you leave that list open for few hours, it will autoscroll down and if you want to scroll it back to top like it was always with previous versions, you have to use mouse scroll or "page up" key, for example "home" key is doing nothing, ideally it should scroll services list to top without use "page up" key.
