24k market cap and you guys have a "community"? In the unforgettable words of Elsa - Let it goooo , let it gooooooooo
1.) The more you push for "letting it go", the more it will motivate people to maintain and grow it. 2.) It's very scammy trying to bully Dashcoin holders out of their invested time, money & energy. But do your thing.

Yet, I don't think I've read one post where you're openly speaking to slb and asking him or her "Why have you sold out?" or "Why did you decide to abandon us, your Dashcoin community?" or "Why have you given up on Dashcoin?" Not one!
Imagine that! An actual decentralized open source project that doesn't worship its dev as some kind of deity. Maybe they don't actually care about this 'slb' character (especially now) and are really only interested in the project and the coin itself. You still don't get it. Open source projects are not companies, and the dev does not "own" the project. Anyone can contribute, and if new people want to join the project and take the place of slb who seems to be gone now, they can certainly do so, just as many abandoned or mismanaged open source projects have been adopted by new developers. I have no idea if this is actually going to happen, but if dashcoin supporters want to keep going, I say go for it. Evan Duffield might not be the enemy in your view but he has treated the dashcoin community with disdain and disrespect, and as nothing more than a pawn in his supposedly more important plans. You're not helping matters either. If the entire Dashcoin "community" had someone buy all of the existing coins at market rate without slippage, you'd barely be able to buy a fully equipped Camry.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5424980#msg5424980

Was that offer even made? How about an offer of exchange for DRK at a pre-deal market price? Or even a discounted price? Anything?

It is a resources thread not a discussion thread, if you want the latter feel free to open one. Here is an open thread on the same topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1001596.0Now FreedomCoin doesn't have to whine about not being able to disrupt the locked one. Isn't that nice?

Dashcoin holders -- a simple question. Do you feel that the developers of Darkcoin have tampered with your personal property (Dashcoin) and as a result, impaired its value and/or function? Yes or no?
