Imagine that! An actual decentralized open source project that doesn't worship its dev as some kind of deity. Maybe they don't actually care about this 'slb' character (especially now) and are really only interested in the project and the coin itself.

You still don't get it. Open source projects are not companies, and the dev does not "own" the project. Anyone can contribute, and if new people want to join the project and take the place of slb who seems to be gone now, they can certainly do so, just as many abandoned or mismanaged open source projects have been adopted by new developers.

I have no idea if this is actually going to happen, but if dashcoin supporters want to keep going, I say go for it.
