It started early this year, suddenly lots of orphanes at times 9 out of 10 rewards. After try and error I was forced to block all incoming connections.
-system clock gets synced every 30 min. -only POS coin that has this problem.
Anyone else got this problem ?
I've only seen it when my clock is out of wack. And it was generally 3-4 times more stakes then normal. But all orphans. It's very weird that it suddenly started to happen after running for years without any problems. Also using a different PC gave the same problems. Only sollution seems to be to block incoming connections but then it seems I pick up a lot less rewards as I normally would. has anything changed in your network? As far as I know nothing. In debug I find lots of these : 4/12/2018 00:54:45 received block 1f165f37be0ec9f81bed 4/12/2018 00:54:45 ERROR: CheckBlock() : block timestamp too far in the future 4/12/2018 00:54:45 ERROR: ProcessBlock() : CheckBlock FAILED Also when I start up the wallet it says synced but some 10 min later it's 1 or 2 blocks behind then it finally is synced. blockhash 1328631: 1f165f37be0ec9f81beddcc81189e560279157771d761ba3ba2ff28097bff906 "time" : 1523494532 == 4/12/2018 00:55:32 GMT So this means either my clock is too slow or the block too fast. What is the fault tolorance on the block time ?

If I read you correctly you checked my data and found that it looks normal ? I tried myself but block explorer is off line.

this only means your wallet rejected some too optimistic blocks lol, which is not abnormal for HYP, it may or may not point to a misbehavior. many things could lead to excessive orphans - unstable clock, high system load, too complex wallet.dat, lunar eclipse, etc.. https://github.com/hyperstake/HyperStake/commit/3b253ac048b99f462a5ea181df3db037eac84d54I am so iliterate when it comes to github, I know that there is usually a readme at the bottom of the code page but as far as getting around and seeing who is contributing and doing what im completely lost...would anyone who is more code inclined point me in the right directions as to where i can learn more about it? how can someone who doesn't know code actually analyze what is happening on there?

I also have noticed that orphans can be a result of system load, complex or maybe too large wallet.dat file. Lunar eclipse only seems to effect my hair growth what's left of it. Still when I block my incoming connections I end up with hardly any orphans because of this I do not believe that my sys clock is acting up in some way. Anyway right now I keep track every day of what happens with port open, later I will do this with port closed. Current values of hashsettings : Drift :60 Interval :22

For everyday one stake you need 800K and split it into 160 parts, 5000 each.

Hello everyone, I'm actually staking coin with Windows wallet but I want to pass on Raspberry pi. This guide seems to be not up date : http://hyperstake.wikia.com/wiki/How_to_build_for_Raspberry , some errors during installation. Would someone have a recent guide or another solution ? Thanks

Hi, Apart from downloading the wallet, Is there any website where we can stake Hyp like btcpop.. There used to be long ago, but it's always better to stake your coins locally. There are always risks when someone else has control of your coins. The whole point of crypto is that you're your own bank.

Update: It's taking too long for the tech guys to fix the audio and video. The show will be rescheduled. --- I will be on Twitch TV today at 4pm EST. Will be sharing my story, Hyperstake (HYP) and how the Crypto-city social networking site came to be. https://www.twitch.tv/beterrific

regarding Staking i get what Minimum Age ~ 8 days to stake means but i dont get what Maximum Age - 30 days means..... does this mean that after 30 days you have to resend them to ur own wallet again for them to stake? or after 30 days they keep staking? idk what that Maximum age thing is i dont get it. thanx to anyone that clears this up for me
