This is intense, I'm getting antsy.

For Bitcoin to be a true global currency the value of BTC needs always to rise.
If BTC became the global currency & money supply = 100 Trillion then ⊅1.00 BTC = $4,761,904.76.

Which block?
Current is 171310.
Which seems to be the first one after the game expiry.

We'll use that one then.

That's not how it's done, otherwise there is no point... First the spreadsheet is published, then the winner is picked by a future block in the blockchain.

That is to make sure it is not:
1. The winning ticket number is chosen
2. The organizer publishes the manipulated list, with the the entrant he desires to win having the winning ticket number.
Well of course then there is the issue of the future block being known in advance and someone then has roughly a 1 in 450,000,000 chance of making sure they get it Smiley

If I bought tickets on two separate occasions, is that listed twice in your list?

I don't see one line that would correlate to the total amount of tickets I purchased? (via the same email address)

Hmm ... now ... how to think up something to make the 29th row the answer without being suspicious ... Smiley

Edit: Hey - hang on - you only got 153 people and less than 200BTC (after free extras) oh well, but I'm surprised you didn't do better.

Edit2: Oh ... I divided that by 2 ... OK you did do better - good Smiley

Got it, didn't think to hash it myself and search....numbers are coins spent/earned(?) rather than tickets purchased.

Yep numbers are BTC you have for shares.
I guess that number will be multiplied by something like 20 or 100 to determine your shares
(I can't remember the decision on that one)
If it's 100, then there's a total 20,645 shares

Hmm for me 0.726% chance not bad Smiley

Edit: I mistyped that - just noticed: it's 20,645 Tongue not 20,654 - fixed it.

Exactly. 1.25 would be 125 shares.

I am in the list Smiley

Will this list be updated so I can see which number I will be mine?  (Ex.  Hash 1 is num 0 and each .5 credits earns a position (increments number by 1))

Simple spreadsheet (using OpenOffice Tongue): Column A = hash, Column B = BTC
If you copy the code box above and paste-special it into a spreadsheet as tab separated (but merge multiple separators)
That will give you 153 rows in A and B

C1 = B1 * 100
Then copy C1 and paste over C2 ... C153
D1 = 0
E1 = C1 - 1

D2 = D1 + C1
Then copy D2 and paste over D3 ... D153

E2 = E1 + C2
Then copy E2 and paste over E3 ... E153

You now have all the number ranges for each row zero based (Hash row shares go from D to E)

Someone want to make a google spreadsheet of that?
(I still don't know how to do that with google Tongue)

smallest common denomination is .05
so .5 credit would be 10 tickets
the fractions of a credit come from the referrals, I'm sure you'd figure that out as well if thought carefully enough about it Wink

It already exists as a spreadsheet in openoffice (that's where I hashed it with an SHA256 macro).

I will create a google doc also.

i would like to know too.. thanks

I think you enter your email here -> http://www.timestampgenerator.com/tools/sha256-generator/

If the SHA256 hash you get is equal to one in the list he posted, you're in (i think atleast)

Read the end of page 12 and the start of page 13 - there's at least 5 different ways to do it written there ...

Okay, sow how do we know who is the winner. I know there was ideas on how it should be done, but I don't think there was ever a finalized way.
