Thanks All You need to do is send Your NAV Coin to Bittrex Exchange. They will automatically swap Your "old" NAVs to NAV Coin 2.0 on 31st May.
"thoroughbred coin" is how we called NAV Coin 2.0 It will be much greater & improved version of NAV.

I sent em like you said. This is just a simple curiosity question, was mentioned that you need to send em to Bittrex BEFORE may 31, what happens if you did not send em in before, is there way to convert em after that date?

I'm just worried abt what it will be for all the coins owned by people who don't know abt the swap.
I know the dev will give them a second chance but if they don't come here so often they can also miss that.
Maybe it's better to keep alive the old chain for some months and to activate a special address to send the old coins that will be autoswapped in the new one... something like it was when we swapped from summercoin to summercoinV2 if I'm not wrong... (or maybe it was from BeeCoin to BeeCoinV2 I don't remember exactly)

Thank you very much for letting us know your concerns , certainly there is a manual or a personal swap period right after the Bittrex swap , where everyone who might have missed the swap through the exchange can swap their coins to NAV 2.0 , it will be open as well right after everyone has switched to the NAV 2.0 chain from the exchange swap and we have and are doing our best to spread the word and get everyone on the new chain.

That is a very good idea.

This is almost exactly what I am working on.

I have developed a version of the wallet where you can type in your Nav 2.0 address and send coins to one of our servers which ill burn the coins Nav 1.0 coins and send the same amount of Nav 2.0 coins to the address you entered.

I'm still in the testing phase and will not be available till after May 31 though. The recommended swap method is with Bittrex so you get access to your coins as early as possible on 1 June.

We have published the Nav 2.0 Source to Bittrex and they have confirmed they can run the coin swap for us on 31 May 2016!

This gives us plenty of time to spread the word far and wide. We will start sending out our articles tomorrow!

The website has been updated with the full details of the new wallet features and the coin swap details: http://navcoin.org/upgrade

We have also added the new wallet to the downloads section: http://navcoin.org/downloads

As well as updating the projects page to reflect the completion of BIP32: http://navcoin.org/projects

I am currently working on the manual swap process for after the bittrex swap has occurred and shahim is continuing work on the Mobile Nav Wallet!

Hi Everyone,

Richie from Bittrex has confirmed that the wallet will be put into maintenance mode at 31 May 2016 @ 1700 PST .

Trading will be halted for up to 24 hours during this period while they install the new block chain and audit their changes to make sure their system is working with the new chain.

Keep your eyes glued on Bittrex for the trading to reopen at some point before 1 June 2016 @ 1700 PST unless otherwise notified by us.

From then, you will be able to withdraw your NAV to the new wallet so make sure you're all synced and ready to go!

Quick reminder that the new and old wallets can not be open at the same time because they run on the same port.

Also be aware the the old wallet.dat is incompatible with the new wallet so don't try to copy it over to the new folder.

One last note is that Poloniex will remain open for trading on with the old block chain until further notice. We are working through a solution for them to transition to the new block chain but can't confirm the date they will switch yet. We will update you with Poloniex progress as soon as more information becomes available to us. We are aiming to resolve this situation as soon as possible.

My NAV 1.0 coins are now nested in Bittrex and waiting to take off to new NAV 2.0 wallet. Just downloaded the NAV 2.0 wallet (3.5.0) and synced it up including Bittrex API keys.
