20    BitcoinDark BitcoinDark    $ 2,066,148    $ 1.72    1,199,310 BTCD    $ 4,417    60.28 %

If you guys want to give bitcoindark a good run NOW IS THE TIME WHILE BITCOIN IS DOWN.

Someone just bought a bunch and gave us some good exposure, bumping us up on coinmarketcap and showing a nice 60% jump while everyone in the top 20 is showing a negative.

Buy up guys and we might get some new bitcoindark users.

Come on James rip out these new features mate, bitcoindark to the moon.

 Cheesy

Is it possible to mine this or are the blocks gone and it's just pos now?
I attempted to solomine and I couldn't get it to work besides error about no pow available.

It is POS only but they have a mutlipool that pays out in BTCD

It is POS only now. You can however use my multipool with your miners and get paid in BTCD:

Thanks jahl!

The latest shift for the BitcoinDark multipool paid out over 34 BTCD to miners on all three algos!

We need to have some more mining support over here at this pool. Prices are low still so this is a good reason to point more hash at the pool. These prices won't last for much longer as BTCD and SuperNET are nearing their v1 release.

Cheers!

I am getting the following error when I try to open the qt client:

A fatal error occurred. BitcoinDark can no longer continue safely and will quit.

EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error
init_blockindex(): error opening database environment Corruption: 73 missing files; e.g.: C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\BitcoinDark\txleveldb/004405.sst
C:\BTCD\BitcoinDark-qt.exe in Runaway exception

I tried re-installing BTCD from the .rar, but same deal. Any ideas what's going on and how to fix it?
I did not delete everything in the Appdata\Roaming\BitcoinDark folder before installing again as I assumed it would overwrite - could be wrong here?

Edit: fixed, I think. Deleted everything in Roaming after backing up wallet.dat. Waiting to sync now...

Still waiting for sync. I created BitcoinDark.conf with the OP details and... got the same error again.
Any thoughts on why that might have happened?

I had your troubles and found it worked when I deleted all from roaming folder (keeping backup of wallet.dat in separate directory). DOWNLOAD .conf file from link provided. Copy / paste doesn't work.  :)Install new BitcoinDark wallet. Start stop a few times and leave to connect and sync. It took ages but did eventually connect and fully sync. Switch off and replace wallet.dat in roaming with your original backed up wallet.dat Start up again. Beats the phsit out of me why we have to cope with this sort of crap with Qt wallets at this stage. Good luck.

I fixed it with the help of a couple of Slackers, similar to the way you suggest. Delete everything in Roaming/BitcoinDark, restart, quit, paste in a working peers.dat file (jahl offered me one) then restart/quit and copy/paste in your saved wallet.dat. Worked just fine and started syncing immediately.
Very frustrating problem but the fix was easy once I got there.

Hi Everyone:

Things are developing quite nicely for SuperNET and BTCD at the moment.  SuperNET is gearing up for the big first release within a week or so and BTCDdev has compiled the BTCD SuperNET wallet for Windows.

After the big V1 release of SuperNET a lot of the development focus will shift to BTCD and Instantdex (of which BTCD plays an important part).

In preparation for this upcoming development activity and for more BTCD focus, BitcoinDark is now getting its own slack page.

Please go to the official website here: http://bitcoindark.pw/slack/ to request an invite!

Let's all help make BTCD come into its own!

How close are we to the big V1 release?  Will anon be ready in version 1?

BitcoinDark desperately needs some functioning tech.....  I'm more than ready to Teleport some BTCD through the aether Cool.
