we are 6th in price !  !  !

Who cares about price?

Paul, I agree price isn't really that important at this point in time.  Especially considering all of the awesome features coming out soon.

However, it does cause a lot of excitement, which is never a bad thing Smiley

U didn't understand. It's about the marketcap. Plain simple.

Hi BTCD community,

I've said this before and will say it again. I am very intrigued by this coin and the projects it has going on. I do have a serious question though, and if someone can give me an answer, I would greatly appreciate it.

I read elsewhere that this coin has a 1.5% premine that is for development purposes.  Is that true? If so, then why do the devs need to raise more money for development, as seen on the OP?  This is somewhat puzzling to me and I wanted to know if there was a good explanation for it.  Thanks in advance.

the premine total was around 20,000 BTCD and it has already been spent. I think it brought in a whopping 3 BTC at the time as during the PoW phase, the price of BTCD was very low

Also, I joined the coin about a week after launch and it is my fault for needing dev budget as I am making many new work for GUI guys and I dont do GUI

If anybody can make a nice pic for the breakout of the flag (pennant) pattern, that would be nice. I think it followed textbook very closely

Working to get a new message type so there is a backward compatible way to link up BTCD core to the privacyServer network. I am dragging myself on the accounting stuff as this is not my liking so much, but it has to be done, so it will be done. These two pieces and we will be starting some multinode tests among the devs.

I know there is still some things I need to code up, but cant quite figure it out yet. However, in the last stages of things coming together, you just put it all together and where there are things missing, well that is what you need to fill in Smiley
I have a feeling I need to create a routing table from the pubaddr/pubkey data, but until I get this data flowing into my system it is "one step away" so sometimes I just wait until I can see exactly what is wrong

sometimes I feel like the homer simpson, d'oh!
I confused myself with the onion routing. I was doing:

packet -> privacyServer -> destination

Of course, this is only working in the loopback scenario (that I have been developing)
so if we tested this, then we find something not working Smiley

Of course, the d'oh is that it needs to be this:

packet -> my privacyServer -> .... -> destination privacyServer -> destination

with the .... being the L additional random hops.

James

P.S. I seem to be looking for excuse to not do accounting stuff, now I have to add this extra layer to the onion routing and this is not just a matter of easy peasy, as I now need a small lookup table of each destination's privacyServer. I knew there was something missing. and of course, each random hop should only use the public privacyServers. Now I feel the missing thing that was bugging me has been found.
