Maybe split the work into half for each and you can proof read each other's work?

This sounds great! I have allready written "id10tothe9" a pm to give him that information!

I really like etherpads to work together with other people on a text. See https://github.com/ether/etherpad-lite/wiki/Sites-that-run-Etherpad-Lite.

Idea: Post darkpaper into it, seperate the english text into several blocks of a few lines each and put the translation of each block below the english one. What you write is automatically marked with a specific color, that makes it easy to see who wrote what.

ok nice! I created this: https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/btcd_de
what is needed to be translated? the dark paper first?

English Darkpaper copied & pasted into
https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/btcd-darkpaper

For translations: COPY (ctrl-a) the english darkpaper from https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/btcd-darkpaper to a new pad (see https://github.com/ether/etherpad-lite/wiki/Sites-that-run-Etherpad-Lite for services that let you create pads) and translate there. Do NOT translate directly inside in the original pad (https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/btcd-darkpaper) please.

since my trial version of Parallels on mac ran out a week ago I'm back to my wallet on Mac. this trend was on parallel and now still happening on my staking on mac, I noticed that I'm getting more coins mined, about 25%-50% more! I'm wondering what's the reason, I thought maybe less coins were staking because of trading but at that time james and others were posting that like 90% are staking so can't be that. Anybody experienced the same or have an explanation? (I'm sure very happy with the extra btcd Cheesy)
Also since I'm still getting sometimes over 50% rejection rate, I wonder maybe this does not affect my gains much and my reasoning is that when a block is rejected, the staking coins don't get locked(?) and they already got a high weight so they solve another block pretty soon and only a little delay happens. Would that be right?

btw I changed my internet provider to a much better connection so not sure this is the reason in my case, maybe just the goeolocation away from the majority of the nodes..
I am almost sure the problem is that your old ISP (and my current one) was dropping connections and Windows has different timeouts than Mac, which allowed Windows to recover faster and resume staking

but I'm still having the same problem with a high rejection rate on Mac, I changed the company and switched from DSL to cable with a better connection. I hope this means I changed the ISP too?
Also is my understanding correct that: "when a block is rejected, the staking coins don't get locked and they already got a high weight so they solve another block pretty soon and only a little delay happens."?

Weak hands selling now... Smiley

Don't sell.

You need to do the opposite of what the whales want you to do.

If they sell, don't sell also. Just HODL or buy more.

I would advise against it.
This is an app for peoples twitterface accounts.
Its not something to use for crucially important exchange accounts etc.
Furthermore they store all your passwords on their sites server as well.

I never thought BTCD will hit 0.01BTC.....i'm happy to be a holder Grin
I knew BTCD will very much progress when James joined the BTCD and I know that a lot more will progress and that's just the beginning of the development way .
For that reason, I went to sell my property in alt coins and I bought  BTCD at 50k Sat with all my assets.
After that again, I have purchased  BTCD with all my incomes.this was the best business I've done in my life and now I'm very happy. Grin

Didn't take too much digging to find out which coin it is that will be joining the supernetwork, or at least it looks that way. If I found it I know others will find it shortly so expect an announcement today. I'm kind of honored to have them part of the team if they are joining.

Free 1 year premium for new lastpass password management users! Very good app!

https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/free-lastpass-for-new-users/

I would advise against it.
This is an app for peoples twitterface accounts.
Its not something to use for crucially important exchange accounts etc.
Furthermore they store all your passwords on their sites server as well.

you are 100% incorrect about that. LastPass uses strong 256-bit AES encryption. They do not have access to any of your passwords, only the encrypted version of your passwords are on their server (similar to how blockchain.info wallets work). All encryption/decryption is done locally. They support multiple 2FA methods as well to protect your account. LastPass has been peer reviewed by several security experts including Steve Gibson.

Since you are incorrect in a few of your facts you advise falls flat.

That is what I expected, thank you. I really wonder why some people make such statements. I've always been quite the opposite, making no definite statements at all until I am 100% sure that I am right. Everything else is marked as a guess / speculation.
