treat uro as investment, it 100% is not a scam, they would not reach out and keep making videos of this was a scam, they would try and be as quiet as possible, heck they probably would of run by now instead of working on videos, apps and trying to get media pick up there new business and expanding there work, I have seen it on about 10 news websites now and it keeps getting bigger don`t you think if it was a scam they would try and not get media attention instead of going out of there way to find some, it is a company that is going to make lots in the future and it will make it, loads actually think of this as when bitcoin was .01-2$ a piece, it will take time but not much to get it where it needs to be, ok it won`t go to 500$+ like btc since urea cost do not change that much but anywhere between $250-900 usd for a mt, but you can assume ges won`t want to take a loss on the urea and they at one point will hold or have all of the uro from people buying urea and will set the market relativity fair I assume enough to profit from the urea suppliers who chose to avoid all the harsh banking laws and need a product at a certain spot at a certain time, they made a coin backed by there product pretty much a GES giftcard for urea, right now it cost 2-3$ atm in the market for a product worth $250+, that is already being honored, that is like me going into subway and getting 100 subs for 2-3$, Ill buy that gift card anyday, thanks GES!

kinda confused 88gh/s network mining power the only pool in the set with any real hash power has 4gh/s of which I am 1 gitbknowsall 1,092,141 71.94... this isnt in any way FUD. But what pool has 90% of hash rate i'd like to join that pool. Please look at some multi port pools which mine the most profitable coin. Heres some that I know: Trademybit: upto 50gh/s - they have mined 27% uro in x11 in last 24 hours Wafflepool : 21gh/s Coinking.io: 6-8gh/s what do you mean ? that is a profit switching pool.... it hasnt had 50ghs pointed at URO for hours

Where does the money come from?
The money comes from the early sellers.
They are subsidizing RIVAA's huge initial profit margins.
RIVAA gets to buy from the miners at a huge discount. Who do you think is selling the URO coin?
RIVVA then pays for Urea from GES with URO coin. GES has to float the loan and send the Urea to RIVAA. The minute RIVAA signs off on the shipment the price of URO climbs exponentially. GES can then sell their URO to the real buyers of the coin and get their fee.
Where does the farmers get hurt? If anything RIVAA can give them a huge discount because they bought cheap ass URO from dumb ass early dumpers, and auto switcher pools.
My god Gugli, you are so dumb.

No, the article tries to demonstrate how its not a scam by showing how it will be settled if it was a scam. But it's not so well writen and the ideas are badly tied together so it can end up as being confusing.

The_Prof, on 12 May 2014 - 2:19 PM, said: I'm mining...Only due to the fact that the world needs food. I am not picky on how it is grown. Besides, all plans are good plans. Lets hope they pull through. On a side note, wallet seems to sync fine. Urea is what gives human urine its smell. In fact, 'urea' is where the word 'urine' comes from. Look at what he typed: "URO URO" (pee pee), "setup a Distributed Urea Exchange" (pee on people), "very poor liquidity" (liquid) "consistent, fast and efficient Urea Exchange" (A Steady Stream), "may shoot up then drop down again" "cascades all finalists" "fixed quantity of real Urea" (totally gonna pee on you), "DES S/P-boxes" (A P-Box feeds output bits into the mouth of an S-Box), "demonstrate the ability" (on your face), "general public facing instruction" (according to court transcripts, R. Kelly gave detailed facing instructions to a minor before urinating on her), "swap Uro" (I think you get the point) "We will raise funds to provide secure trading PCs to farming communities that will introduce them to internet" (IPO SCAM) These mockeries are why fiat currency still exists and harm us all in a real way. If up to me, this dev would be banned from crypto for life.
Interesting little tidbit. one of the Chang gang was fudding this coin right from the initial announcement, even before it launched. nice slapdown by BOHAN here, after They/it /he/she attacked the moderator.

It's out now in the major media outlets, If this were a scam, the authorities know every major player. Name, face, location. does anyone really think these guys want to be the next bernie madoff publicly dragged away in chains? and to a chinese prison, which is bad, or an Indian prison, which is even worse? There is not enough money circulating in all of the exchanges to fund this coin at parity. The big money fiat traders will have to be involved. these guys sure as hell aren't after my couple of BTC.

i found it spot on. It addresses exactly what i keep pissing off the fudders with, the question they still haven't been able to answer even with all their lies and innuendo. how do these guys make any money if it's a scam? No premine, no IPO, everyone and their brother knows who they are, government contracts involved.... how do they slip away with any cash? It's easier to promote it as a business venture, and follow through. and, you'll make much more than you would with a scam.

Bryce Weiner's thinking is flawed to begin with. It is not the farmer who takes risk with Uro, it is the seller of the urea. The farmers won't buy or receive Uro to dump it on the market, rather they will buy it so they can trade it for urea. And since the Uro Protocol specifies that one Uro = 1 mt of urea, the actual market price does not affect the farmers. The distributors are the ones who need the market value to be on par with 1 mt of urea and for there to be adequate liquidity in order to cash out the Uro they received in payment.

Okay, for example
Dollars per Barrel of oil are currently 93 dollars, empty barrels make the most noise, but you still get scrap metal price for your empty barrel. Dollars per empty Uro coin are 2 dollars, there is no scrap price.
So what is it, a bag of hope?
Try gathering 12500 coins and order a shipment of urea. See if you get empty bags. If you get full bags: Try selling them for 300 dollars. Then tell me what is the value of urocoin.

Urea is a commodity, Okay, for example
Dollars per Barrel of oil are currently 93 dollars, empty barrels make the most noise, but you still get scrap metal price for your empty barrel. Dollars per empty Uro coin are 2 dollars, there is no scrap price.
So what is it, a bag of hope?
Try gathering 12500 coins and order a shipment of urea. See if you get empty bags. If you get full bags: Try selling them for 300 dollars. Then tell me what is the value of urocoin. Uro is a container, Urea a commodity as is Barrel a container and crude oil a commodity URO is an electronic certificate. It has value as far as it's being accepted for commodity. The fact that the value had not been realized yet doesn't mean it's not there. You can buy a stock of a company that has a great idea for $10 and then sell it for $100 when the company markets the idea. In the mid-90's Apple was on the brink of bankruptcy (I should have bought the stock!). Today it has the largest market capitalization in the world. Does it mean that all that added capitalization is a product of hard work and dedication? Partially, yes. However, most of the value was already there but only few saw it. So, it's all about time and credibility of URO Protocol signatories. Something to think about: when you can buy gold certificates you never see the gold. How do you know it's even there? US Dollar used to be backed by gold and then SUDDENLY (in 1971) it turned out the gold wasn't there.

The top wallet http://uroexplorer.cryptocuttlefish.cc/address/UkSmT2yNWcsWYVk8Y4MusZWKpqSRZdVTpT adds block rewards on a daily basis, and I don't see them paid out like if it were a pool address. It happens to be the largest on the rich list also.
