Hi Dev,

I think this coin has a very good name. But there are a few things i want to clarify.

1. Is there a whitepaper release coming soon?
2. Will there be a road map for implementations.
3. Will the website be changed? The name http://apexcoin.is-great.net/ does not sound professional. Maybe 'Apex-official' is a better alternative.
4. Are there anon features?
5. Will there be encrypted chat messaging services? 'ApexChat' 'ApexLine' 'ApexWire' 'ApexComs'- some suggestions.
6. How many devs are currently working on the coin? Please break this down into areas of speciality

I also think that bounties should be given for a re-branding and a new marketing campaign for the new change happening.
Re-brand and create new awareness. Very important to have a good image in crypo if want to stand out.

I reckon a complete re-brand: logos, website. Majority of this support can be created by the community with bounties offered. this is will make apex a community driven coin with serious support.

Also, its good to have a slogan or catch phrase like 'Bringing Crypto to the World.' or even 'Adaptive Protocol Environment'

Hope these questions can be answered soon.

Thanks

1 & 2) There is already a starting of a planned release timelined in previous post that announced the screenshots of the webkit wallet, and we may add things other than wallet features to that list, but we currently feel that most coins with huge whitepapers and roadmaps are scamcoins that put most of their energies into those areas and fill them with fluff and unrealistic goals that they never intend to fulfill in the first place. We want to stay as versatile as possible due to the fast pace that technology advances in this field. With the new webkit wallet, there is lots of room to grow there, but we do not want to limit ourselves. We want to be that fast coin that can maneuver if necessary, not the slow truck that everyone has to maneuver around.

3) The current plan is to have the site inside the wallet, so the website name should become less relevant. However, if someone wants to donate towards a new name, that can become an option.

4) No, we feel that feature is currently overhyped, many on this forums do not want it, and most importantly many legitimate businesses do not want it. The end goal is mass adoption, and anon may hurt more than it helps in that department later down the line, especially if/when lawmakers eventually try to step in.

5) Wallet v2.1 will have actual webchat implanted. If the community wants a web-based anonymous chat service implanted, they can suggest one and we can do that too. There are already plenty of services that provide this feature that we can easily adopt, no need to reinvent the wheel here.

6) There are currently 3 static members, and a handful of non static members. One static member is the main coder and handles most of the backend. The second static member handles PR on social media, among other organizations, and the third member does research and helps out where necessary in both other areas and any areas that arise. Depending on the events of the next few weeks, we may be adding a new static member.

We hope this answers a lot of your questions about APEX. Now we must make final preparations for the webkit launch.

Also, one final thing that we need the community's help on, Altcointoday has agreed to do a promotional giveaway for a bounty of 15,000, plus the 10,000 we want to give away. The problem is, this would literally eat through the entire remainder of premine we have left for bounties. We want to time it for today with the launch of the webkit, and maybe a follow up campaign with v2.1 as well. For this purpose, we have set up a donation address specifically for this purpose. Please show your support and donate what you can. Thanks.

Donation address (marketing):  AJXD8mXb4prcrmM8dRSby36dA8P97LUBB5
Donation goal (marketing): 25,000 APEX

I think it would be wise to stay away from anon unless you're planning on doing illegal things that you need to go anon, but the gov is watching you.

If you guys can win back your supporters, I suggest not letting communication and PR fall on the back-burner going forward. Unless, of course, this is just an attempt to get the price to 1k satoshi and an enormous dump commences. I'll put some btc back into this and see what develops. Please, keep communication with your community. Transparency will keep your loyal supporters from becoming resentful

1k is far to cheap for this coin, but sadly many will dump anyway that bought real cheap and lookin for good profit, but I say this could go way up as many suggested before --> 15-50k ... so HOLD I say to the weak hands.

Nah, it made sense for the dev to be silent. Personally I think he went a bit overboard and shouldn't have driven the price down into ground as much as he did, and the takeover stuff was going somewhat overboard. But price goes low, coins got gobbled up, dev miraculously returns with new wallet. Makes perfect sense.

I'm really pumped about APEX always have since its first release. One day I will buy my next car direct with APEX and tell my kids 'daddy bought these coins when they were only 400 sats each, now they are worth half a Bitcoin!!'

I hear what you're saying. The big issue is that there are hundreds upon hundreds of coins out there, and constantly being released. If something becomes fishy, good luck shaking that stigma. You don't want to inflate and deflate and then attempt to inflate your community base on a continual cycle. Especially in the infancy of the coin, you need a solid foundation of follow through and innovation. That's just my opinion
