Yeah, the coins dont has moved -and the good thing of not other exchange working is that there no place to go with they-- ,
so here the only problem at long is:
- if they would lost the  balances // user relations
- if they would lost the private keys

In this hipotetical scenarios we would need to organize as a community to get a solution, but there are not yet a proof to imagine this such big problems..

Meanwhile seems that a short term, who are in problem are the buyers, because dont there are yet Faircoins to sell

Hope so that the coins are still somewhere in their system. But with all the hate, insults and pressure they are receiving now they wouldn't dare to steal them. Just to many people would make sure they wouldn't get happy anymore and I think moolah is at least cleaver enough to know that.

I learned a while ago not to keep any balances on any exchange, and this is why.

Hoping the balances will be recovered by Mintpal we should all learn the lesson here: exchanges are not to trust with your own funds.

Well, i am sharing now the question discussed on the Fair Coop meeting related exchanges.

- To enter in NXT assets exchange has been proposed. Some is in contact with https://multigateway.org
and some new additions could be done shortly. Anyway multisignature is needed and could be needed some action from the faircoin dev team.
this work can go in paralel with anothers.

- To create an exchange managed by Fair Coop will be discussed in the Fair Coop network
This could be the better choise for the middle and long term

-  For shorterm and with the needed of volume, there are some discussions that we want to do in this thread.
A summary: neither the low, neither the big volume exchange are answering to the simple petition of adding coins.
They are doing business with the competence of adding coins, lot of them with paid voting, and some needs direct negotiation
The voting of little exchanges can be wined with about 0,5 BTC, and some voices said that you need about 2 BTC to negotiate for entering Bittrex.
So we need a common approach for this topic here.

Well, this is what a not official source has informed me....I can make the offer when we get the 2 BTC, and if finally this not worked, i can return the 2 BTC to every adress.

everybody who has faircoins on mitpal has the same problem. :/

I didnt moved them away before mintpal/moolah shows its real professionalism. People who trusted them, like me, are sucked now...lesson learned.

I would love to donate btc to get on bittrex but all I have is a lot of faircoins which hopefully didnt get lost on that stupid "exchange"

Hi,

I'm happy to announce that the first public beta phase of the brand new FairCoin Android Wallet will be starting shortly.

Every tester will receive the amount of 10 FAIR which he will then send to a given donation address within one week. After that week we sum up the amount of the actual returned coins and calculate the fairness index out of it. Hope it will be 100%. The donation will go to our faithful community designer SomeRelax, which continues to support FairCoin in such a great way.

The beta phase will not start before the 16th of October 18:00 GMT.
