Sometimes I look at Alt coins like Penny stocks, You think big companies on Wall St acquire small companies just because they are cheap and not because they have potential? what kind of rhetoric is that? Just ask Google when it bought Youtube or when Facebook bought Instagram, just to give you some examples. Anyway I don't think all holders of Groupcoin are willing to let go of their stake, so as long as shareholders believe in this project, if someone puts up a 40 BTC buy order, it will never get filled. |

Lets say Buyer A put in a 40 BTC buy order to buy 10m GPC at 400 sat on Bittrex. They'd only buy ~300 GPC at that price as that's all that is on offer. They'd have a ~39.99 BTC order waiting to be filled. Effectively creating a buy wall. Yes some sellers 'might' sell at 400 sat. More likely other buyers will place bids higher than 400 sat, meaning that Buyer A would need to up their bid to buy more GPC. |
