2 bits is better than nothing. But as you said it got abused. Imagine if abusers claim 2 bits, will bet it to 2000times payout, if it hits, then its free money. And if bot users will do it for 10 - 20 accounts, it will be a lot of money.

But how long are you going to hunt that amount? It really takes your time here, and who are going to waste their time here just for this small amount of money? And the tine you spend here is not worth to what you get. So yes I agree that they remove it so people do not abuse it for sure. But i just wondering about new player, how they going to try some site here

Hey guys,

What elements would you change/add/remove to bustabit.
Personally, I find the 5 second a little short, id much prefer 7seconds.
Moreover, maybe a redirect to a community of sort, such as this one but supported by the platform.

Let me know, thanks Smiley

Faucets can be botted quite easily though, so you don't have to do anything except code the bot. Your only cost would be internet, electricity, and captcha solves, but all of those are quite cheap. It's probably profitable, considering how many abusers there are. I'm assuming the simplest way to solve it was to remove it, as the intention was so people could try it out. The costs of losing customers because they can't test it might be lower than the faucet abusing costs.

Probably the biggest issue for me, is actually just trying to manage the type of people faucets bring in. Faucets are a fantastic way for people to try the site without going through all the hassles (and costs) of depositing, so that's something I do want to bring back as soon as possible. But what I don't want to do is encourage people who are purely looking for handouts, as it tends to be just a net negative to the community/chat.

The new update (which I'm working hard on, I promise) actually has a sort of "reverse leveling faucet" based on your ip address, where the more it's used the less money it gives. That way it can satisfy it's purpose for trying out the site, but not really attractive for much more

I've always said that the type of people that are attracted to a faucet aren't the types of people you'd want in your casino.  Much more so if you have a chat component.  You'll just never see any money from those people, it's a big net negative (well...not BIG, but you know).  If anything, make a faucet that can only be used once or twice so people can check out the site...anything more is just asking for abuse.

Agree with that system, just need to make sure your base faucet isn't high enough for people to think it's worthwhile to use lots of different IP's/VPN's.

I really think you should bring the faucet back. I really enjoyed being able to still play even if I lost everything. I sometimes just want to play just for the sake of playing and I don't want to have to make a deposit of such a large amount then maybe lose it and have to do it again. I rather play for fun with dust from a faucet until I feel I want to gamble for real with a reasonable amount. I surely don't see the faucet as a means to make money but s means to just play. I mean why can't someone just play for fun if that is what they wish ? I'm so sure how the faucet is abused but that's what it should be for and how it should be used.

Ok! Bustabit's biggest ever giveaway has been completed!

Thank you, @RHavar! Whilst unexpected (that Bustabit would claim on our behalf and pass on the claim), it's very welcome.

Looks something new for me. I have not seen any game like this which distributes wagers first and then burst event pays us back with profits. Also the free BTC is also good strategy to attract more and more people on the site. However, when does exactly the burst event happens? My skills, well okay and I can beat the strategy I guess but I don't trust my luck anywhere in the world. Lolz. Will give it a shot. Whats the minimum that I can invest and what is the cashing limit?

Jeez, thats one of hell multiplier its about 52k x on the amount and in 2 bits you make it already 100k+ bits. Ive never seen this thing before and how much more on the record about those 400k hit. Its really possible on achieving this one. I didnt expect since i do played on bustabit and my realistic achievable multiplier would be only 20x would be enough for me.

Seems like a reasonable change. And yeah, I've tested building a forum with single-sign on and it doesn't look too hard so that's something I can launch after the v2 release (which is ~1-2 months away )

That's a question. Longering the delay (e.g. from 5 to 7 seconds) would be useful for somebody, who prefers manual betting, indeed. On the contrary, who plays auto-betting scheme, probably will vote for "as-is" or shortening that delay. So, the current status with 5 seconds can be a good choice/compromise. But voting (not just) about this item should be interesting, of course ;-)

Invest? You mean to play with?
The minimum is 1 bit limit to play all the way up to 999,999 bits which is one whole bitcoin.

According to e.g. this article :

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-transaction-fees-significantly-decrease-charlie-shrem-pays-025-fee

The BTC mempool has been significantly cleared and fees were reduced - I can confirm, that transactions with ~ 400-500 bits of fee are including in the first mined block (after transaction sign), without any problem.
So, RHavar, could you please think about (at least temporary) decreasing of current fee (800bits) into some lower level ? I guess that the return somewhere into 400-500 bits area would be more than enough (at least now). Thanks.
