Congratulations to Alexy for breaking into our exclusive >100 BTC profit club!

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Congratulations to Alexy for breaking into our exclusive >100 BTC profit club! That's a whole load of bitcoin wagered too. Wasn't he the guy who didn't even actually play via the official UI? Either way, glad to see their journey got to that point. Wasn't a long time ago when I observed the bets for a bit...

As far as I know bustabit source code is available so I think it has something to do with that. I only vaguely remember someone mentioning this in BaB chat so don't trust me on it 100%. I have no more insight on it though. Maybe Ryan knows more EDIT: Through the API... lol nothing to do with source code (right?) I'm dumb

That's also about the best I can get when I play manually

This Alexy guy has to be a talented coder if he truly managed to pull off an algorithm that beats the house through bustabit's bonuses. It'd be funny to see BaB become a bot arms race if Alexy ever retires and releases his code.

He's not beating the house - he's beating other players

He's not beating the house - he's beating other players Well, you could say that he's using other players to beat the house. Other players don't exactly lose to him but he still plays against the house nevertheless. It's the bonuses that can give him an advantage, and bonuses come from out-running other players. Bustabit is unique like this.

Bustabit is unique like this. Right, but the house is not losing money - in fact it is probably still making money off of Alexy. Rather, other players are experiencing what is essentially an increased house edge

Is there source code on this? Wouldn't want to be giving away strategies that might be proprietary.

The source is here: https://github.com/Stenlan/BaBSSWhat ever you see on the branch "gh-pages" is what github actually puts up. But if you want to be absolutely sure the site doesn't steal your strategy, best to use firefox and open a new private browsing window, go to the site, then turn on "Work offline". When you finish, close the private browsing window (which will clear any local storage) and it'll be safe to go back online Cool, anyone know if this includes bonuses or not?

Crashes at 0.00x are included, but bonuses are not. Since the size of the bonus depends on so many unknown factors it is virtually impossible to simulate it in any meaningful way. Taking a flat bonus of 1 % into account each game might make sense, though.

Since it's well established by this point that you can't beat the house in the long-run, bonuses are the only way to win, yet you can't calculate them with this? What's the point then other than making little kids feel good about their script lasting 500 games without busting?

Probably still one of the most fun I've had playing gambling games up to date. The excitement is much stronger compared to dice games. I am no addict, but this game truly is fun Edit: Still hate losing though haha

I'm working on adding bonuses, but as @RHavar said, it's kind of hard to simulate them in any meaningful and/or realistic way. I'll try to approximate it though.

Heh the only way would be to actually go through each game, bet by bet, cash out by cash out to see when, or if, you would get the bonus for a particular game (or how much it would be). Of course, as Rhavar said, that could have some kind of butterfly affect though, depending on how much you were betting.

I'll probably add the option to just toggle a 1% bonus to every round or a bonus depending on the amount bet. What you described would make the calculation time much longer as it would have to request every page, and wouldn't be a lot better in my opinion. BTW, I have just added auto strats calculation.

Yeah, you would have to either query every single page, every time (which Ryan won't allow even once), or get a copy of Shiba's database (does it even store that kind of data) or start storing it yourself. BUT, given how many "strategies" claim to beat the house, if you truly want to show that a strategy can or can't beat the house, then you need to factor in bonuses

Yeah, Shiba's database has everything. He just listens to the connection and logs everything he sees and saved it in his own database. If you want play data, this is the way I'd prefer you get it. However, if you really need you can get a JSON dump of a particular game: e.g. https://www.bustabit.com/game/3260196.jsonJust take it easy, try keep it under say 1 request every 5 seconds to avoid getting anti-ddos banned How many games total are available like this?
