There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

This critical error to mine?
Code:
configure: error: Found Berkeley DB other than 4.8, required for portable wallets (--with-incompatible-bdb to ignore
me too,
Just do
Code:
./configure --with-incompatible-bdb

But then you'll get the error
Code:
Building LMDB ...
make[5]: Entering directory `/home/stas/DEV/Coins/Cryptonite/src/liblmdb'
make[5]: *** No rule to make target `liblmdb.a'.  Stop.

Relaunch

For what? let them fix the bug, release a new binary and everything is sorted....
You should only "relaunch" when something happens that isnt fixable.

I  guess thats the right fork, has the most nethash.

Forks can always happen, should resolve itself tho...
u guys should add more seednodes.

Relaunch is non-sense if the the seednodes were just out of sync...

490 blocks ? aren't we supposed to have only around 100 blocks right now ?

The difficulty algo needs some time to adjust, thats totally normal.

OK FOLKS THE PROBLEM DOES APPEAR TO BE THE WINDOWS BINARIES. THEY ARE GOING OFF ON THEIR OWN CHAIN WHICH IS INVALID. IF YOU ARE USING A WINDOWS BUILD STOP MINING IMMEDIATELY PLEASE BECAUSE THE CHAIN YOUR MINING ISN'T THE RIGHT ONE.

give us your node, dev!

we need your node!

so we can contact to the main chain!

You should only "relaunch" when something happens that isnt fixable.

Because I was unable to mine any coins at launch, of course (and still can't).
