Are you trying to send newly mined coins? They are in small inputs, 10000 coins is about 1600 blocks, mined coins in each block is a separate input. If you have received several thousands of coins in one or few transactions and then will try to send them then you should not have any such problems.

But shouldn't other requirements prevent this from happening anyway?
Like e.g. unique IP for every masternode (and the associated setup costs)?

I mean, how does darkcoin prevent DDos from the masternode side at this moment?
Anybody can just start a masternode, even if it hasn't 1000 DRK in it. But I believe the masternode shuts itself down rightaway, without even communicating to the network, right?
Or does it broadcast/recieve something even then? (Aside from the blockchain)

... and those millions of masternodes will immediately be shut down (not allowed to continue) by the protocol, because of the 1000 masternodes which have more then zero SPR in them, right?
Aren't all those zero-spr-masternodes going to communicate with the network, recieve the blockchain and list of the top 1000 masternodes and quietly shut themselves down since they have too few SPR in them?

Where exactly will the Ddosing happen? Constantly asking the network to send the list of the top 1000 allowed masternodes? Is this transmitted data going to be what bloats/attacks the system?
Isn't this data communicated thru the blockchain? If not, maybe it should, so that miners can secure this data.
