Wow, took awhile to figure out how to mine but I'm finally mining @ 900 Kh/s. Any estimates on how long it'll take for me to find a block?
Expected blocks per day (over time) = (your hashrate divided by the total) * 1440 In your case, (0.9/3000)*1440 = 0.432 blocks a day averaged over time. Expect to find one every 2-3 days in other words. Reposting this for the newer folks complaining about their lack of block finding.... Overall if you have 5mh/s with current 5.5 gh/s network, expect a block on average just over once per day. ... Or you can stop whining, realize that SPR's price is actually increasing with SPR's network/difficulty, and buy SPR on bittrex AND leave your miner to mine for the long-term. JL

I constantly see the floor for SpreadCoin steadily going up which is making it harder and harder to accumulate these coins cheap. People who mine this coin definitely aren't willing to sell them for cheap and I don't blame them. I am looking forward to the price rise once the announcement regarding how the masternodes will work comes out. Until then I am going to continue accumulating this coin because in a sea of shitcoins there can only be a couple survivors and I honestly believe that SpreadCoin is going to be one of those survivors! VIVE LE SPREVOLUTION!!! LOL

Small update. elbandi has found that current version doesn't send all the information necessary for lightweight wallets. This new version fixes this. There are also several minor improvements. Version 0.9.15.3- Sent all necessary information to lightweight wallets.
- It is now possible to start mining with zero threads, this is useful if you want to just unlock the wallet for GPU mining.
- Make it clear that hashrate displayed in the wallet is only for built-in miner.
- Fixed bug when user was asked for password to start built-in miner even if miningprivkey was set.
- Decimal dot in supply in getinfo method.
- Testnet: it is now possible to mine without connected nodes.
You can download new version from http://spreadcoin.net/
