This IOC will be the most successful in history....for the devs.

It will bring the market and those who invested to their knees.

If you don't think the price will be half of what it is now when it hits
The exchange then you don't understand basic economics.

There is no room to grow when literally everyone and their mother
can jump in early.

The Bancor debacle will be nothing compared to this.

UNCAPPED ICOS ARE THE CANCER OF THIS MARKET

I am no expert on the subject, but I have to agree based on my best knowledge. It's going to take a lot a people getting hurt real badly, and then the rest of us to help people focus that negative attention on those ICOs, and not on good, reliable, functional and safe crypto.

Time will clean out the crap, but in the meantime, we'll have to adjust our expectations for the real McCoys.

On the 16th June I registered with bitcoinsuisse to send FIAT for the Tezos ICO.

On the 30th I still hadn't received a reply or an account number to send the fund to. I asked on the Tezos slack and one of the Tezos team checked with bitcoinsuisse and said that they were processing and that they would contact me the next day, it's now the 13th July, the ICO is over and still no contact..   We need an alternative to bitcoinsuisse, they just aren't good enough. The Tezos team is no better, shutting down slack and saying it's because people were trying to scam members.. how about you get more admins and manage it like ALL the other projects then?  Very disappointing and no follow up after you provided false info that the registrations would be processed before the ico....

you said "the cancer of this market are the ico."

only are the pump grups and shitcoins from 2010 onwards for this groups are the blep cancer on crypto. REALITY

Why ico is cancer?, when ico its born,  its life.?

And I do not ask you for answers.  Tongue

Not ico =  not new coins  Cry  Cry

Why better  Cool
IMO

The best we can do is to eliminate , deslisted all that shitcoins , yes that shit from 2010 onwards that are not good for shit and fork from shit and by the way are more centralized than the center of my bath.

So stop talking nonsense and repeating to tears that broke all the fucking records in history.

take note and fell sad for yours words of troll.

The only thing that really bothers them is that at last true teams of professionals work to create new coins that will replace the shitcoins you hold, that's why no one likes to publish a shit here because what they do here now is to trolley all year . Reality

And if it hurts, I'm glad you confirm that I'm right  Cheesy

That's reality.

Random question. Why did tezos decide on 6000 tezzies per btc? Now there are 600 million coins in circulation. Wouldn't a smaller number have been more conducive to faster growth? Less supply, more demand...

lower price to acquire a bunch for future growth the way i look at it, anyone that wants to get involved in this project as time goes on will be able to jump on acquire a decent amount and not break the bank i dont mind the number personally.

I've bordered on sounding like a Tezos cheerleader recently but to neutralize that a bit, I"m really really surprised this project has been in development since 2014 and they don't yet have the most basic front facing user applications. The blockchain explorer is incredibly under-developed: https://fredcy.github.io/tezos-client/#/

And there's no wallet. This had the largest ICO in history raising almost 250 Million and there's no wallet yet. I partially understand this as the team is a very technical team having built this thing from the ground up over several years, which is far different from all of these other ICO's which are just copied github solidity code (and nothing more) but still I worry about the 'impression' that will be given if/when folks realize there aren't any user facing apps. Perhaps they snap all of this into place prior to dispersing tokens.

I know a lot of the community will make judgements from these apps alone so I really hope they make a good impression with them. I just think about much smaller projects like NXT with hardly any developers and I can't imagine what a disaster that project would have been if they simply didn't have wallets, blockchain explorers.

Arg, not to mention the main form of communication is an IRC channel...

No.  These are simply a way for exchanges to artificially create artificial scarcity and soak up profits.

Howso?  They're already trading IOU's on HitBTC at nearly $1.90 per coin.   If I did my math somewhat right, the ICO price was about $0.40 .....  and for some reason just like EOS, its maintaining an absurd price on exchanges.

Maybe it's just a moment to admit that a good coin doesn't necessarily need to have a beatiful announcement full of bounties and crap and random people not even capable of using Google Translate to communicate in English..
