Tezos self governing protocol stuck in internal governance issues. But thanks for the community who unanimously chose Olaf to be the head and wil be  serving on its board. Tezos has such big amount of funds lying with them including my .25BTC. Dont know whether they will refund it or give the xzt. Tezos if executed will bring a new kind of revolution and stand as a big competitor to ETH.  Date has not be finalised yet but it was originally scheduled for Dec 2017. Its already very late.

Maybe it was a long battle but tbh I'm a bit dissapointed since is almost 9 months from the start of the ICO and we still don't have the mainnet in place.

The problem seems to be the foundation wont give any of the ICo money to the team due to some concerns,it now has at least two lawsuits and as I now believe the fbi are involved as well.This is just my opinion but it could be at least the summer of next year before you see your tokens if ever.If you read your contract with tezos you will see as quoted in the Merkle tezos never said you would deff receive tokens it might just be a donation on your part.

Hopefully after the mainnet launch, more real use-cases kick in, which result to increase demand for Tezzies , then it is a good thing as well for everyone.

I just hope this coin won't bite the dust. This is one of many problems with icos, its hard to guess which coin is going to have legal issues and which coin will runits usual service for many upcoming years..

In Theory you may buy IOU's and hold them, then after Tezos token release demand them from HitBTC. what if they don't hold any, Or Even not enough for everybody people really do want to invest in this token, But they are being blocked by the caution of super bad communication, and major lack of Response to q.  If they start like this, and continue like this and don't greatly improve, The community is much smaller compared BTC. Hope that when it is distributed, influx of new money would be there. Else if is launched in bear market, many people who have been waiting for it for so many months would just dump it to hop onto some other alt. For me however, it is going to be a long term hold.

Investors have been waiting Tezos for a long time(around 8 months)
During that period there are many newcomers. And many of the Tezos investors earned good money from the hypes on that period.
I think we will see good price at the launch.

Didn't this coin had some management issues where the founders were fighting within themselves? Also didn't this coin raise a really big amount? Like a few hundred millions dollars? This coin has been out of the news for some time now.

There have been problems between Tezos team and Tezos foundation. Right now those seem solved.
They reiased big amount of money, it was around $200m and now it<'s more than $500m.
