Hahaha.. What a joke..

Got to love these altcoin markets..  Inpatiency and fear make 90% of the traders here lose money..

And for those who sold: thank you very, very much. Boom's blood is refreshed again with spirit.

So just to summarize: this big hype about the coming up super news was about getting into some other token with which you can get some ASIC rig to be shipped more than a year from now?
How is this any good news for this coin?

I think everyone is entitled to an explanation, who bought some BOOM on the rumours..
I bought in yesterday at 4,8k and now I can sell it at 66% loss in 24 hours.

Great work there, dev and everyone who was involved! Especially those who actually knew about this and didn't warn the community. You deserve to get fckd in the ass by a pack of mountain gorillas on meth.

Just a "hey think guys"

Quote
7.9 Risk of insufficient interest in the Cleverhash token (hash) platform or hash cloud platform or Cleverhash

ASIC mining hardware.

There is the risk the lack of interest in our ASIC mining hardware will cause insufficient pre-orders to

fund development. We will do our due diligence to market, advertise and promote our hardware to achieve the

milestone of 4,000 units sold with payment made in bitcoin to completely fund the development.

so that's 16M USD in crowd funding  Shocked (without even giving a proof of anything) and if only 15M are collected, the project is canceled  Grin
(there are people who are able to create viable tech businesses with a lot less... I don't think microsoft had that much when they started...)

I am not sure who they contacted to produce the asics, but I am pretty sure many companies will wrote a contract to manufacture asic for less than that.
The 16M or nothing sounds fishy...

Not bad 16 Million.
Never ever! If they get 16 Million I ... whatever.
That was the second reason I stopped believing.

How?

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

Coin was first page on bittrex, so many new big players joined, there are also many whales and pump groups that have interest in lowering the price creating panic sales so they accumulate more
Maybe coin is damaged but every holder can be sure that there will be a pump soon

Forum Question Responses:

How long until the actual hardware is available? We want to give realistic expectations. We have seen many companies promise faster deliveries, only to end up delaying. This hurts the customers. Q4 of 2015 is a realistic and transparent.

How long will you mine with customer rigs before they are released to the public? The rigs will be tested and after passing quality control will be shipped immediately to customers.

So this will drastically decrease prices of all x11/x13/x15 coins that still can be mined? Depends if our customers decide to hold those coins versus selling them. We will not however, mass produce units and devalue our customer’s hardware.

What about X14? Currently our X15 Triple X chip will only output X11, X13 and X15.

Which can be ordered at The Sonic Miner? After this community offer - ICO concludes, our website will go live to the public for retail sales. Miners can then pre-order either model.

If we Order, are you going to "test" for 6 months and then send when obsolete? Not at all, we are a real company and that would be fraud. The process will be completely transparent throughout the process. At the time of delivery we will ensure hardware profitability by upgraded performance.

Even by buying the hashtoken in the ICO, makes us bound to buy the miners? No. You can choose to sell your tokens on the exchange, exchange them for a miner or hold them long-term for continued net profit sharing.

You get ICO funds 4 days after ICO completion.  Development isn't going to be completed for another year? Yes, ASIC development is a lengthy process. We began this process earlier this year and partnered with the best. The funds raised in the ICO will go towards funding development and secure benefits described in the whitepaper.

2 to 3 years? Around 13 months is more accurate for mining hardware delivery estimates.

Noob account, self-moderated thread? Please read the white-paper, Boomcoindev is and established account and the moderated thread is in place to remove malicious acts by 3rd parties to protect the community.

Terms & Conditions response: A responsible company, disclosing all potential risks. It is important for newcomers to fully understand the potential risks in the crypto-currency industry and potentially Risks and benefits with HASH. If you have been in this industry for any length of time, you will already be familiar with them as they are standard.

So that's 16M USD in crowd funding: To pay for Asic development, BOM, NRE ect, and to deliver on the above stated hash benefits, 4,000 units will need to be sold to the public during the retail sale. We believe this is a conservative goal and is achievable. If we do not sell enough units to the public during our sale, then the retail mining customer will be refunded.

Boomcoin is already here. 5% discount doesn't justify to create or use a coin? When the promotion ends for HASH and the website goes live to the public for retail orders, Customers will save tremendously from paying in Boomcoin. If the discount was more then 5% it would not be able to pay for the hardware. Please read the white paper in detail. Thanks

So you are only making 5% on the price of $3,985 ($200) or $7,499 ($375)?  If this is like any profitable business you will be making at least 10-15% but more likely 20-25%.

What other role does Boom have in the bigger picture here?  Anything other than 5% discount on equipment that will be at least a year out?  Are there any new things coming to Boom?

So the retail mining customer will be refund but those of us that bought the $1,000,000 ICO will be screwed....

Don't you think the better option would be to secure the orders first and then provide the ICO.  This way the guys that invested in your ICO will not be screwed over.
