We want GRANITE to be set in stone its fast becoming as solid as its namesake ... the new code is now in git - the osx wallet has been compiled and tested - and the windows wallet is in the process of getting done ... this next release will set the groundwork for the rebase ... lots of work still yet to be done ... btw - the rest of the updates will be on the cwi threads ... #crysx

closure of THIS official granite pool ( http://grn-pool.granitecoin.com ) - to make way for the new official pools ( http://pool.chainworksindustries.com ) ... hi all ... this pool will soon be closing as the official granite pool by friday 6th january 2017 - and will be replaced by the pool that we have been alpha testing for the past few months as the official pool in the CWI pool system ... this closure is part of the restructure for ChainWorks Industries - and will become part of the CWI pool framework as well as the CWI ecosystem ... we believe this is a necessary step towards the growth of the infrastructure for granite - and being part of a larger system will enhance the facilities that are available to us in such a company ... please stop mining here and withdraw all the coins by the end of december - as the windup in the first week of january will mean you cannot access the pool or its facilities ... the official granite pool has been operating for years now - as a service for the granite community - and has been proud to do so ... we want to continue this legacy of service - and joining the CWI framework is a step in the right direction ... please setup a new account at http://pool.granitecoin.com/ and start mining there asap ... the url WILL change when it is all signed over to ChainWorks Industries - but there will be ample time to change the address for the miners to the new address of http://pool.chainworksindustries.com/ ... all notifications will be made in the new thread on bitcointalk ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1563601 ) - and the new CWI forum when it is up also ... we are thankful that we have such a committed community - and look forward to servicing you in the future with much bigger and better facilities ... tanx, #crysx

hi mate ... glad to see you back ... what are you trying to do? ... mine with sgminer50? ... btw - the cwi thread is where i am mostly answering questions and updating ... soon - when the cwi thread is updated properly - all these threads will be locked ... if you are testing the miner - the 'old' official pool will be shut down very soon ... and the new pools will have the official granite pool running there instead ... so please re-register there - as that will soon be updated with the new stratums that has been worked on also ... let me know mate - so we can figure out what it is you are having issues with ... as for sync - the latest core code has 25cwi seednodes hardcoded and is available in my git ... the only thing is - i have not released the windows and osx wallets as yet ... so sync will not be an issue ... the difference between the old wallets and new core code - is that all reference to the old 'GraniteCoin' name has changed to 'granite' ... so the folder names have changed also ... the new directory name is now 'granite' so any windows wallet folders and .conf files need to be renamed to from 'GraniteCoin' to 'granite' ... everything else remains the same ... a full update will be made soon on the cwi thread about all this ... and again - glad to see you back ... #crysx

Anyway, im probably going to stop mining anyway, the difficulty is too high. It looks like you were the only miner for quite a while. Well, I better buy some. Cheers, e1ghtSpace

Cheers, e1ghtSpace hi mate ... yup - thats the new pool - which will replace the old 'official' pool ... there seems to be no issues with teh pool at all - and i was the only miner on there for the testing period ... the high diff and heavy mining is coming from zpool again - as crackers reinstated granite and ozziecoin back on the pool ... so with gigahashes being thrown periodically at it - the diff will constantly fluctuate ... tarithel is still mining at the old 'official' pool - and is constantly hashing at about 200mh ... that pool will close in the coming weeks ... the new stratum has been built - and with these new pools - will be tested extensively ... the new cwi pools will be the official pools for our coins ... when the new stratum that has been built for cwi is implemented - all the pools will be designated as 'beta' and change colour to the 'beta' colour ( cyan / light blue ) ... sgimner50 should work well - but the diff is a bit high for a single gpu card now ... and with the new release of the windows / osx wallets - will probably climb even more if people start using the asics to mine x11 ... pm your address and ill donate a few coins to you mate ... #crysx

Is there a windows wallet download? Because I'd rather not keep my coins on an exchange. morning mate ... not for the current git - but only the one before ... we are trying to get the download backend sorted - as dropbox continues to lock out users due to 'too many requests' ... what a load of crap ... ill supply you the previous windows wallet ( this core does not have ALL the 25seednodes hardcoded ) if you want it ... btw - this thread will soon be locked - as all the projects will be posted on the cwi thread ... tanx ... #crysx
