what's the next plan for burst?do we have a roadmap?
Sure, in the first page: Basic pool support (done) Improved pool support (working on) BurstId authentication systemAnd the community is working on a blockexplorer, a website, and now on a one-click install client (if you can make this last one, there is a bounty of 0.3 BTC!) Any idea on what this is? Also there were rumors a few pages back that there's a hidden Polls feature.

am I the only one seeing a problem with creating plots all the time?
If you want to switch pool (or to/from solo-mining) you must re-create plots, which can take days if not weeks.
I started about a week ago and I'm still not even half way through.. now someone creates a pool.. well fuck, do I spend another week recreating it or just stay and solo mine?

I like the new pool, only thing is, i've been mining on a 500gb just for this, brand new hdd for almost 7 days now. No blocks
When I read the pool was out, so I went on ahead deleted the solo plots. and generated new plots using the new id from the pool that was made for me. It is almost done generating, and I've been running the new mine bat the whole time and all I get is this.
{ "height": "3388", "generationSignature": "b9af80bf3dab37cdcac71b2a26e1c8fa664d8780d17648ce8e4ef7 95d3a3aff0", "baseTarget": "50577231", "targetDeadline": "20000" } No valid shares to submit to pool { "height": "3389", "generationSignature": "44cb1c47707c2874dd8c2fb4948af5b2da03e031d876e36128741a d380abcee2", "baseTarget": "52630836", "targetDeadline": "20000" } No valid shares to submit to pool
I want to get bigger hdds, but I want to wait to make sure I get at least one block first.
You will only get a share of a block once the pool finds one. I think the message "No valid shares...." is you haven't submitted a share 20,000 or lower on the deadline; you might want to put at least a 1TB or more towards the pool, ideally 2TB. I have a 3tb coming in today. Should I solo or use the pool?

I would solo but it's up to you

I've got usb 3 drive, but my computer only has usb 2, will it work? Anyway, I've got another issue: sh run_generate.sh address 1 800000 500 2 Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for 4096000KB object heap
It occurs no matter what numbers I write. I've got 4gb of RAM. Should the pocminerv1 directory be placed on my external drive if I want to create plots there?

If anyone can port the NXT one-click install client ( http://nxtra.org/nxt-wallet/) to Burst, I'll offer a 0.25 BTC reward for it. (or the equivalent amount in Burst) Yes we need this, the current method of setting up the wallet and miner is complete BS. Every other coin has managed to use the same wallet style (the -Qt wallets), so why not this coin?

When will this be on an exchange? I don't think the btc to burst price is accurate.

Let's tweet about burstcoin! The crypto world must know this coin! All of you please, tweet something about it! More hype, more investors!
Getting listed on a well-known exchange would bring a ton of investors, and more members to the community. I suggest everyone contact Bittrex (they are the most likely to add us), and ask them for a listing. Sure, but everytime I've said that, someone told me that it's too early! What we need anymore before being ready!? I think, now is best time to get this coin to exchanges. Then more people will notice this coin, and we will get more active members. With so fast growing difficulty,we need to get more people on board, because generating plots take long time, and a lot of people will loose their interest of this coin, because after couple of weeks, people with 3 TB plots will get about one block in 2-3 days. I see great comunity around this coin, and together we can do big things!

Have you even compared the UI Differences? QT wallets are more secure, because they are on your PC,and you can protect them with passphrase, and if someone will get your rpcuser and rpcpass,he will never get your passphrase, but for NXT based coins is only one password to hack.I'm right?
