We need more people mining this! All of you should spread this thread! I've opened one in my native language! Do the same if you can and add infos in your sign! If difficulty raises and more people join, this coin will fly more than now! Also tweet about it!!

I mentioned earlier today that I was going to do a redesign of the Burst UI + a new logo. Well now I've completed both of those, take a look at the screenshots below (Please let me know if there is anything I've left out or if there's anything odd in the design) :

Here is the link to the files for the UI : https://github.com/Wulfcastle/Burst-UI

How to Install :

1. Download this repo to your PC
2. Navigate to the root of your Burst folder, e.g. C:\Burst\burst_1.0.0
3. Copy and Paste the "html" folder from this repo over the existing "html" folder in your Burst root folder, overwriting previous files.

Note :

This redesign only changes the CSS & HTML files that are used on the front-end of the NRS server that runs Burst, no back-end code has been edited, nor has any of the core functionality been edited in any way.

Just looking for some feedback, what do you guys think about this logo?

I love it!

i like it too! thanks for sharing

Wow! this is gorgeuos compared to the original Burst interface. Also @burstcoin, any chance to change the original logo to something else like this, the current logo looks like sh!t it must be said.

+1, i don't like the current logo also, it's color is ugly,,,just make the logo simple as it can, look at the bitcoin, nxtcoin, darkcoin, blackcoin, their log are all simple, current log is to complicate, and the "B"in this wallet is cool, i also like it!

I have make this conf, but i think it's not good! Find only 4 in 4 days?

Can someone tell me if my conf is good or not?

Thanks

With my laptop and 571GB found 3 in 4 days, so i think it's good! Difficulty is rising!

If you want to see if they overlap, go to https://bchain.info/BURST/tools/overlap and paste the plots name!

Thanks for info!

I have this result :
8130010810251XXXX_899654_1015685_8191: Number of nonces (1015685) is not a multiple of stagger size (8191)
Plots 813001081025XXXXX_1915339_1015684_8191 and 8130010810251XXXXX_2922833_2031616_4096 overlap (8190 nonces)

I need to delete some plot and restart or i can stay like that?

Stay with your plots. Its just a few nonces that overlap.

Thanks, you sure that can't affect mining?

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I've reached out to @Burstcoin - the dev, regarding integration of the new UI + the new logo, he mentioned that if the community likes it he'll add it. I've also created a Pull Request on GitHub : https://github.com/BurstProject/burstcoin/pull/1, so if anyone wants to comment on the new UI + new logo or offer support to it's addition you can also do it there.

Thanks, you sure that can't affect mining?

It does, but only to a minor extent. 8190 overlapping nonces are ~2GB of space wasted. Thats all.

You can also keep it. Its just a few nonces at the end that are wasted space.

You can view it like this:
Every nonce has a deadline for every block. The miner has to find the smallest one and submit it. In your case it first found 2611592, submitted it and kept searching. Later it found 1863506.

Your miner runs perfectly  Smiley

Lower! If you run it off an SSD this dosnt matter, if you use HDDs its the lower the better.

- yes, you need 1 BURST coin to send a message. It is to prevent BURST blockchain from spam.

Burst is an amazing coin...

ABC, I am still trying to figure out the asset thing, I did the trade and now I have 1 asset, then I just trade it on the exchange right? Cool. Be on the lookout for my next sends! Can I send you more than 1k at a time, what if I sent 8k?

crowetic just send me 10 coins to be able to send arbitrary message. Thanks crowetic

Im due for a block anytime now.... come on...  Just to give everyone a idea how we're looking in terms of space to block ratio :
850gb blocks found :
1921 8/16/2014 12:48:23
1713 8/15/2014 22:00:40
1618 8/15/2014 14:43:34
1478 8/15/2014 04:43:14
1270 8/14/2014 11:20:09
1220 8/14/2014 08:07:55

then 4 blocks on the 13th and one block on the 12th when I got started.  This gives everyone who's curious a ballpark of space/blocks/difficulty/peers.  BTW Im using one miner for my 50gb plot on the ssd and one miner for the plot on the spinner, so one instance for each drive.  That is correct yes?  Once instance will not pick up more than one drive will it?  Wish I had more hard drive space!  Is their a bounty for a gui for everything, I don't know I have time to do it being I have a surgery coming up but it may be possible.

Also 30k burst for .1 here or .4 per 10k  PM ME

Just mined my first 2 blocks.  Cheesy With 0,6 TB in 2 days. Both blocks were just two hours apart...

About the logo: It's okay... could be more simplified without the strings in the background. I like the idea tough, to use the disks of a HDD to resemble a coin. Maybe there is a posibility to show more disks with three dimensions.

I'm not really convinced... but when I am, I will donate you some of my bursts Smiley

somethings in the air, BURST blocks often come in pairs (most of mine did)

BTC compared to PASC looks like big clumsy dinosaur - still not aware of meteor coming.
