Maybe retweet this to bittrex on tweeter: https://twitter.com/CryptoPLGuru/status/507960459388276736

Why bittrex still don't add Burst?

The excuse that Burstcoin isn't on the new NXT API, nothing else. I posted a tweet about it and that was the response, my twitter is n10z.

Someone please look at this code and tell me if I did something wrong. I've been running for ~20 hours and haven't had any type of payout or even a notification in my wallet letting me know I'm doing it right.

Code:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -Xmx1000m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate acctnumberhere 0 108000000 0 4

Running 2.7 TB completely empty drive. Wanting to maximize the space as much as possible. Thank you for all the help all of you have provided the past day or so, I really do a appreciate you guys helping a complete mining noob like myself.

BTW my specs are:

I7 3770k (gen2 I think)

16 gb ram

GTX 690 if that matters

and the empty 2.7TB that I'm mining on.

The OP could really use an update.  The same questions are getting asked 100 times while usually have the answer in the last few pages......

Yeah, this is important, too bad only dev can revise it. What we as a community can do, however, is to start seperate threads (which later can be included/linked to from the main OP here). Three possible threads come to mind:

1. Frequenlty Ask Questions for BURST
2. Updated tutorial for BURST mining on Windows
3. Updated tutorial for BURST mining on Linux

I'm confident there are more possibilities...?

Perhaps the thread's content could be drafted on Google docs, to enable more collaborators, and then published as threads here? Some people in the community writes really well and pedagagical  Smiley Maybe content for an official homepage can be "crowdsourced" in a similar way.

Just some ideas before dinner - anyone else?  Smiley

could someone give me a tip ,

my friend offerd me his HDD Seagate Barracuda 2TB Sata 3 6GB/s model ST2000DL003-9VT166 2 years old for 50€

do you guys think that is a decent deal so I could start mining Burst

what would you guys do ?

a bit overpriced, 3tb new barracuda cost 90 euro, this mean he is selling to you a 75 euro 3TB 5/6 of the original price, after two year is a bit too much imho

it`s a 2TB HDD for 50€ , I might convince him to drop it to 45€

but there is also new HDD-s at my local shop for 80€ WD green 2TB and 130€ for a WD green 3TB , both of them with 3 years warranty ,
this are the prices if I pay with credit card if I pay it in cash it 10% off

so I see price is droping on c-cex and more and more coins are generated daily and difficulty is increasing rapidly ,

but if I buy a new HDD and it didn`t pay out I really have no use of it in the future, I will sleep on it and see how things are tomorrow .

buy it on amazon, the 3TB barracuda is at 90 euro

I did buy once on amazon a graphic card (got it after 10 days) and it was pain in the ass to return it after it broke in less than 6 weeks ,

it took 5 weeks to get a new one and I had to pay the shipping cost , so I rather stick to local shops ,I know the price is higher than on amazon but at least I don`t have to bother with it if something happens

That's just plot app with the cmd line your showing.

Are you solo or pool mining?

Yeah, it's received. Tested the faucet with own address, and it pays out as well.

Nice, lets fill it up a bit then  Smiley

Hey everyone, new to Burst and ready with 2x4 TB HDD's.

I'm in the love with this type of mining since I use a nvidia GPU so not much luck there.

Any kind soul care to send 1 burst to me so I can join the v2 pool?

BURST-CDZC-B23B-LE9N-B9UN9

EDIT: Thanks http://burstfaucet.com/ , I'll fill it back up later with more.

looks like i still can't get that poolmining to work. somehow it must have worked at some point, because I got around 430 coins about 12h ago. the first share does get submitted correctly, but then:

Code:
New best: 2356708139007897533:114613
Error: Unable to get mining info from wallet :http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io:80/burst?requestType=getMiningInfo
Submitting share
Error: Failed to submit nonce

I already tried:

http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io
http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io:80
http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io:8124

when I stop the miner, and restart it, it seems that the first share gets submitted, and all following shares show the error. I really don't know what else to do...

i sold all my burst! i think we are going probably down to 300

Sure! And i have seen a flying horse right out of my house talking about football with a cat.

Burst crashes on C-Cex.  Huh

Well. If you're not a newbie:
-3 millions+ coin mined every day
-2 billions coins total
-No investor
-Only miner
-Millions of burst on c-cex deposit.

You always go with the flow, do you?

As they say, misery loves company. Negative people will try to bring down positive people.

The problem is people listen to people like IE, Bobsurplus, etc....Strange the few can motivate the many to do things that are illogical and rash actions. People forget to trust their own wisdom and become followers to the wrong people/cause.

As far as the price is going down, we can only blame us for pushing it down like that, no excuses. You know how the crypto world goes, there can be 100 billion coins and people can hype a coins price without any real reason/ideal. So, this BS of people making a big deal about the minting of the coin per day, then why is DOGE and REDD still around. Both are doing ok still with their larger amount of coins.

My advise, if your here to dump, then dump and leave this thread with your negative comments/ideals. I really don't understand why you people like to stroke your ego when you so call predict a coins lower prices/downfall, your not Nostradamus. So, stop with thinking your some professional economist/stock broker, because that wouldn't fly in the Stock Market with rumors/FUD.

agreed.
