Is there any wiki/repository on plot speed vs cpu?
Not that I know of. Here's some basic performance metrics on Centos 6.5 with dcct's linux plotgen: i5-2400: 3400 nonces/min E5-2560v2: 7000 nonces/min E5-2670v2: 7100 nonces/min 2xE5-2560v2: 13900 nonces/min i7-3770k: 4300 nonces/min FX-8350 @ 4.2GHz: 3500 nonces/min adding to that: Intel® Core™ i7-2600 Quad-Core: ~3900 nonces/min i7-5960X: 7400 nounces/min i7-5930K: 6130 nounces/min Baller status, 3~4 7970 can be bought for the price of that i7-5960X....LOL Ya that 1000$ cpu, anyone using it to plot is just straight out of their minds. Gonna try getting a azure trial and test plotting on their AMD opteron cpus. Looks like were forming a nice list for a wiki page

i too just switched to solo mining, i thought you used to see a deadline while solo mining? what happened to it? i didn't see any wrong with it,., it is normal, the deadline only show when prepared to submit shares, then will show the deadline, and this deadline determined whether you will get the block okay. so there is really never a change in the scrolling screen.. for multiple computers if i dont set a static or im on a different network i need to be running the wallet on the local host right? and what happens when you find a block? 10k poof into your wallet or anything on the screen? 1.you can change the conf/nxt.defaultp... add the ip you want to connet to your wallet, nxt.allowedBotHosts,nxt.apiServerHost or what ever, i didn't try it, they told me at first, i remember these two place, you can search the post of dev.. this can makes you open one wallet and all of your miners share it 2. when you submit the share, you will see the deadline, one block will submit once, it will take several minutes, becuase every block is 4 minutes.you won't see any info when you get the block, the only thing is deadline, if your deadline is arroud 240, then you should have found a block, (this may not accurate, because some one may have less deadline, then the block is his, the lowest deadline owner will get the block) 3. the award should not be the 10k now, because it has passed one month, and the award decreased the 5%, should 9500 now what makes someone have a lower deadline than someone else? each one of my 1tb harddrives look like they all have the same deadline ( running over a dozen instances)

Still have about 15 hours of 10k left.

hey guys, I tried the GPU plotter but GPU driver crashes every time it starts plotting second thing, I've noticed kinda big amount of data being transfered while plotting/mining burst. It can download even about 500MB per day, while mining other coins it was about 10MB/day. It might put me out from burst train to the moon, because I have limited data transfer:( Does it download data only while plotting or while mining? Try with different version of catalyst software. There are still different version of gpu to be tested but my mate successfully plotting with 290x twin frozer x10 times faster than his i7 processor. If you gpu is same model, pm for specs I tried on 2x 7950 and the driver was crashing. Then I tried on another pc with single 7950 and it doesn't even start to plot, it crashes after 'Building OpenCL program'. what catalyst version does your mate have? I'm pretty sure I have the newest drivers. Supposedly they are on 13.9. I just did a clean uninstall and installing 13.9 on a HD7970. Are you on Win7 or Win8.1 SpeedDemon? And its not like I bought the 5960X for plotting ;p I wish I owned a 5960X...lfmao.... I'm running Win8.1 64-bit....

Wouldn't it be possible to mine on multiple v2 pools at once... by listing your local address followed by each pool link like this:
java -cp pocminer_pool.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer_pool.POCMiner mine myhost:port pool1:port pool2:port

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.

Haven't found a driver that works for me yet. (R9 290x) Tried various 14.x and 13.9. Tried with and without APP SDK in each instance. Every time the final line in cmd is Building OpenCL program and then the .exe crashes.
Tbh I've kinda given up, I've been on this for most of the day now with no success and I'm left thinking that I'm not going to land on the right avenue.
Going to wait and see what the next version brings.
Try 13.12 Drivers. Worked for my 290x. I used 4000 for my stagger as my system RAM is weak and 256 for my threads using the 290x.

Guys, someone made a forum just for us. Why don't we start moving discussions there where they can be split by categories. http://burstforum.comInstead of just flooding one single thread, we can flood an entire forum Just kidding. The idea is that it will be easier to follow since all the problems will be in the support area, announcements in announcements and so on. People would find things a lot easier.
