On Intel CPUs I get better results, but with AMD worst..hmmmm strange :/
On AMD (8 core FX8320) is always ~50% CPU usage (doesn't matter if I mine with -t 2 or -t 7)
[/quote]

try this one download few and test, best for me was generic one with 4,8 overclock 8320 is just a little slower than 4790k at 4,4  Wink and say thanks to wolf0 and joelao95

try t6 if youre working on pc while mining you should have 70 to 80 khashs and with t8 around 100

AMD is a slow as compared to the Intel.

not that much but they use more w. 8320 and 8350 are oceing easy to 4.5 stock voltage and have little less performace than haswells at that clock.

8350 4,5 t8 max 105 khash

4790k 4,4 t8 max 120 khash

A Proof-Of-Donation Dogeparty Asset has been created. It will be distributed after POD phase is complete.
Mined funds will be sent directly to the XMG dev's donation address. Dividends will be paid out on the asset! (% TBA.)

Interested in this initiative? Check it out! - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=939091.0

8350 4,5 t8 max 105 khash

4790k 4,4 t8 max 120 khash
Not to forget the AMD is much cheaper:

FX-8350: 155€
i7-4790k: 300€

@wolf0 and joelao95: Any chance the new miners can run on ARM?  Cheesy

64 Bit version is still slower at only 3.2K per thread on my AMD , where as generic one is 4.5K a thread mine is the same its not using all cores to 100% some are not even used at all

Dev,any development plan in 2015?

Any development plan?
Although I'm not the dev, I will answer it (he'll be online in a few hours).

Please check the OP for more details, search for Timeline.
Our standalone payment gateway is currently in beta-testing and will be launched soon. With it, we are independent of any payment processors and allow merchants to accept payments in XMG.

...

Furthermore, we're planning a marketplace where people can sell their items and get paid in XMG. Electrum and Android app, donation plugins and P2Pool are more ideas.

If you have ideas, let us know. We appreciate any community input.

Thanks for the details mate. The timeline is basically the plan, however I will put particular emphasis on the magipay and the marketplace. You still remember the marketplace I discussed with you long time ago.  Smiley

maybe something else is using your cpu thats to low, usage should be at 100%, even 1055t have 10.55k per core/thread with generic v2 from joelao95, do you mine with gpu some other coin at the same time bc ccminer can use 15 % of vishera cpu per 1 gpu

No you miss understood , using - t 8 on mine with nothing else running, its not using ALL cores , 5 of my cores sit at zero and 3 at 100%

Sure I do. As you have a lot of work, I'm gonna start to develop a first demo soon.

Thanks, that helped!
But I still have problems with clock droping - do you have some tip how to solve this?
It looks mine CPU cooler is not doing jobe well, so clock keeps droping when temp is high.
I tried everythind, disabled lot of things in BIOS but nothing helps.
If I overclock it, it only gets worse, so I'm running not overclocked at regular 3,5 and getting 65~58 khash with my AMD 8320.

what is your temps and cooler is it stock and whats your mobo.
if you have below 62 c its fine, 990 fx sockets runs very hot if you watercooling or have stock cooler you should put one fan to blow directly to mobo socket.
your cpu is downclocking bc cool n quiet is turn on in bios, you should turn off all power saving options in bios to prevent downclocking especialy if you oceing but only if your temps are below 62.
measure your temps with hw info and disable ai suite if you have asus mobo and report back all temps core, socket, nb, sb, etc so i can help you more corectly.
if your cpu is on air you should aim at 4,4 overclock with 8320 with no overvoltage or very little. if you have good cooler and and temps below 62 your settings should look like this

Ai Overclock Tuner - Manual
AMD Turbo CORE Technology - Disabled
DRAM 1600Mhz @ 1.5v or your ram settings
CPU Frequency  - 4400Mhz
CPU/NB Frequency - 2200Mhz
HT Link Speed - 2600Mhz
CPU & NB Voltage - Manual Mode
CPU/NB Manual Voltage - 1.25v you can go to 1.30 but only if you have sufficient cooler and stability issues
CPU LLC - Ultra High (75%)
CPU/NB LLC - Auto
Cool'n'Quiet - Disabled
C1E - Disabled
SVM - Disabled
Core C6 State - Disabled
Amp Master Mode - Disabled

try this only if you have stability issues

CPU Current Capability - 130%
CPU/NB Current Capability - 130%
DRAM Current Capability 130%

Having problems with the Windows 64 bit miner I published? Too slow? This is due to the limitations of the compiler used.

This is an old problem which will go away once I have compiled the miner using Msys/Mingw64 instead.

Instead of running a single instance of minerd with multiple threads, run multiple instances of minerd with single threads (which is what my autominer does for you). You will see a major improvement.

nice i opened 8 instances and having same khash like joelao v2 on all 8 threads together on 4790k, but when i open only 3 instances of 8 improvment is huge 23 khash to 15 khash per thread maybe you can do something so hashing stays higher with more threads/instances than 3

You will get a higher hashrate per thread when the CPU is not fully loaded, no matter what I do with the compiler. You will get maximum possible total hashrate when the total number of threads running is equal to the number of CPU cores on the machine.

ahh i tought so, but its still about 3 khash faster on all 8 threads and it is more stable like this more fixed +- 0.30 khashs on pool and miner atleast for last 10 minutes

When I can get my mega-compiler to play ball with this new code, things will be a lot better all round anyway Wink

Where can I get a working Wallet for my new Ubuntu? Or where can find a little howto for the dependencies and the compilation?
