Hey, all, I wanted to let anyone who is interested know that I made a repository fork that supports building the QT wallet and headless server for armv7 processors (and I will be maintaining it for as long as I have interest in the coin). I have prebuilt armv7 binaries here: https://github.com/feldenthorne/magi/releases/And the source is here: https://github.com/feldenthorne/magi/This is literally only 23 lines of code in the makefiles, so it's not a big deal... But I wanted my wallets running on my ARM desktop to be a little more energy-efficient. Hopefully it helps someone else out, too! A WORD OF CAUTION: These builds use libdb5.1 instead of the official repository's libdb4.8. So databases that are created or even opened by these binaries can't be flopped back to the official binary releases.

Just bumped this one! I would totally do that, but I'm a new member and it's too long to put into my signature. (50 characters max.) It's a definite will-do for the future, though.

Magi is in a position to take advantage of a great opportunity that can propel the currency to great heights. 1) Imagine if Magi and 9 other CC community ran indiegogo and kickstarter what do you think would be done differently? - we would allow for CC donations in addition to fiat donations, - we would encourage sponsorship (perks, campaign, and video), - we would give every member some free CC to intrigue and inspire them, - we would help promote the campaigns we sponsor, - we would find a way to promote the site, campaigns, all of the coins involved - we would share revenue between the 10 CC communities - we would share the work of the site - we would form an admin to organize the day-to-day we would form a CC community based crowdfunding business. 2) Imagine if 80% of indiegogo and kickstarted profits were divided by 10 then each portion used to buy the respective CCs of each team so each and every team is paid in his own currency. and 3) Imagine naming that business PICISI i dont believe its a good project for xmg, i have my doubts my feeling tells me its a bad thing (sry Armis, just telling what im thinking) xmg can do without this, its a good coin and will be better when the times go by, its all about the community. If this goos wrong then its possible that xmg will go down, we are strong and will be stronger in the future. Again i cant tell whats wrong, but for me i wouldn't do it

Thanks joelao95. You can find the MyMagi contributions address at http://tor.mymagi.grn.ccThe MyMagi Tor Relay Server is running on a $7 instance at Vultr (N.B. that they do not allow Tor Exit nodes, only Relay's) - anyway 50% of the CPU is mining Magi to off-set the bandwidth costs, with the other 50% CPU usage dedicated to running Tor and Arm (which rarely goes over 20% CPU usage actually). The node also has a Bitcoin address listed in the ContactInfo and therefore receives small amounts of Bitcoin via https://oniontip.com/I thought it would be interesting to create a Tor server that essentially funds itself by mining Magi, through donations / contributions and advertising (a-ads revenue from the free proxies) / referral commissions (from the mining guide) and the PoS interest. It is ofc possible to build a script that would send monthly Bitcoin payments to Vultr for the server to pay its own running costs i.e. essentially an example of a smart contract in action. Anyway, surplus funds will be put into reserve and/or be used to set-up new Relays, a process that could also be fully automated. This sounds a nice concept; so 50% CPU mining at Vultr seems fine (I got limited by them when running 100% mining long time ago. ) If you need support for VPS from us, just let me know; I guess I am still capable of doing something along that; or additional VPS support and any others of which you have idea but sort of limiting to resources, this applies to @anyone else, talk to me if one interested.

I had a discussion with Vultr support today to try and ascertain what would be an acceptable level of CPU usage to avoid having a cloud instance with them restricted, flagged or cancelled. They stated that a customer can use the full power of the purchased CPUs provided that the processes running do not negatively affect other users of our services. Common things to avoid are processes with excessive I/O or CPU interrupts. - https://www.vultr.com/legal/use_policy.php"In the event your instances uses excessive CPU from activities such as cryptocurrency CPU mining, Vultr.com reserves the right to limit the CPU available to your instances in order to maintain a consistent level of performance on all our nodes."Anyway, I have set my nodes to use only -e 20 i.e. 20% which interestingly enough is the rate limit restriction per. cpu that Vultr introduce to customers accounts who have used excessive cpu resources. So, I'm guessing this is acceptable usage ! The khash/s rate is somewhere around 3 to 6 khash/s on average, around the same as an Rpi 2.

Open my test pool around 7-8 days for free mining. 0% fee and PROP. There is a limitation on the bandwidth usage 1000 GB. So try it or not. http://104.238.183.121/MPOS/public/index.php?page=loginTest script: ./minerd -o stratum+tcp://104.238.183.121:3333 -u seeksilence.test -p x -q 7-8 days mining Magi with 0% fee? Thats nice! No other miner except me. Just mined one block with less than 100kh/s in 38 hours. Seems no one is interested in this. I will run out of money in the VPS in 7-8 days that's why I open it for free. When I try to register it says toke expired. Not enough time allowed to key in the details. Do not know how long for the token but I think at least 1 minute. But if the token expired, it will remember the username, coin address and email. So you just need to reenter the password (>=8) and pin. Also do not forget to check the "I accept the...". I just went through it without problem. Also, thanks jawitech for pointing one miner to the pool. We just mined another block in 35 hours for less than 100kh/s. Welcome other miners for 7 or more days free mining.
