Sure, I unlocked for staking.
The message I've got is 'Not staking because you don't have enough weight"
My network weight was 20 when I first put my coins into my local wallet. message said that it will take 40 days for staking.
The next day weight was dropped to 1, message told me that 780 days for staking.
and soon after.. message changed into "'Not staking because you don't have enough weight" minting icoin was dimmed.
I'm quite new to Magi coin but I've been for 3 years in Crypto world. I alway open wallet and unlock for staking.
Did you try using coin control to send the coins back to yourself - I usually do that to blocks that have 20k or more confirmations - in theory the settings in the magi.conf should do that for you - but I find the odd block doesn't make it for some reason (maybe its due to the number of coins you have - cryptonits settings will likely be the best for you). Might also be worth checking your block height against the network and the total weight - you could also be on a fork I split my coins into 4 15K around size. Cross my fingers and wait. BTW, Should I split a pile of coins into 15000 or lower size?
one is 30K-3900 confirmed, the other is 32K-2900 confirmed.
my tests showed 15k is like the biggest coin pile that is able to stake that tests are many months ago so by increase total coins maybe its higher now but sure not 32k |

No think it will not be a problem. Poloniex will notice the coin-activity and knows it will give more volume in the future. |

Wallet definitely unlocked "for staking" but hasn't actually seen a stake since April of 2016. you might want to try recombining the previous stake inputs into a single one. This will help you compete for blocks I think. 13.5k should be enough to stake for sure |

Currently says "not staking because you don't have enough weight", since last upgrade to latest wallet am also seeing "This is a pre-release test build - use at your own risk - do not use for mining or merchant applications", but assumed everyone was seeing same. Not sure how to do what you suggested in combining, but thinking you mean to send all coins to a new address in the wallet? Thanks again for the replies and suggestions! |
