Yes I confirm. I'm new on Magi but I was impressed of dev reaction that I bought just now 1K of them. It's a great coin with some possibility to grow up fast during the next months and years.
Which miner are you using to mine them ? (when it will be possible)
Crazy
Crazy thanks for your post. http://www.m-core.org/download/#mining-softwaresCheck above to find miners Yes I saw them, but I've also seen they are quite old miners. There is no udpated version ? I'm still using the Spexx miner from a long time ago - the M7M algo hasn't changed so no need for a new version...

I have read conflicting information on how many coins you need for wallet staking to start happening. I have read as low as 12 but have 25 ish before things were put on hold and no staking was happening. Had posii=1 on conf and set to mpos minting enabled.
Have I missed anything ?
I also don't understand this. I have just a few coins on my wallet, and staking enabled, but I never received anything and there's almost no information about this readily available anywhere. So I see different people offer different information but usually they have thousands of coins. It would be nice if someone could explain this in a straightforward manner..like "have x coins and keep wallet online for y days".

I am trying solo mining to pass the time until the hard fork. When I read the instructions, I see: 1) Create a conf file which should be in the folder: ~/.magi (linux) or %appdata%\magi (windows) (magi.conf is not necessary, unless you will sole mine; use more complicated pass as you like) Quote daemon=1 server=1 rpcport=8232 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcuser=rpcuser rpcpassword=rpcpass 2) Run minerd Code: minerd.exe --url http://127.0.0.1:8232 --user rpcuser --pass rpcpass --threads <number of threads> Number one, I have m-minerd, not minerd. Is this a mistake, misspelling, change? Two: I have tried starting up the wallet (newest 1.4.5.1) with the above entries in my magi.conf, and I get RPC_CALL errors, and I cannot see anything listening to port 8232 on my machine. Are there simpler instructions somewhere?

A side note, good to see unexpected price move; my personal opinion - be smart trading.
I have just bought Magi. I have several questions about his coin: (1) The newest version of the wallet is 1.4.5.1, which can be downloaded on the bitcointalk website. But on the internet site of the Magi coin ( http://www.m-core.org), one can only find an older version of the wallet. I don't understand. Why this? People interested in the coin will go the the website, and they will download the wallet they find there. Why is the internet site of the coin not updated (with such an important software)? Most of Magi coin owners will use an old wallet! (2) What does this "hard fork mean" for Magi coin owners? Do they take the risk to lose their coins if they make a coin transfer using an old wallet? My coins are stored on my Cryptopia account. Should I leave them there for the moment, or should I transfer them to my personal wallet? Does it matter what wallet I use? (3) On the internet site of the coin I cannot find any information about the team working on the Magi project. I am sure this coin has a professional and enthusiastic team. I would like to know the names of the team members, and see some information abut their career. With best regards

They should fix this 2) I don't think there's any risk with transfers to the old wallets. After all, the addresses are the same. You will get your coins after updating. 3) I agree again, they definitely need a lot more of that. But it's okay, it will come with time.

I would like to know the names of the team members, and see some information abut their career. 1). Just checked the site and the downloads all point to version 1.4.5.1. (So might just have been slow in updating the site). 2). Coins should be safe where they are. But If in doubt leave them there till after the Hard Fork. Only issue would be transferring to/from an exchange that has not updated their wallet to the latest version. (I "lost" 4XMG sending to Yobit from Bittrex. Bittrex was on the new version and Yobit had not updated their wallet. So they were lost...) So double check with your exchange if they have the latest wallet installed... 3). Have to agree about the Documentation and available info. Hopefully once things settle down their might be a community push to get docs updated and hopefully some extra background info. (But not too worried about background info as long as the Dev & team is active in the community).
