Why wallet is "Not staking" even if it is unlocked and posii=1? It was staking earlier, but then ceased.

I could be wrong, but if you look in your wallet there may be a recent transaction that is greyed out and/or has [brackets] around it, that entry will likely have a crossed pair of hammers/picks. If it's there, your wallet just minted a piece of XMG and staking is halted until it is confirmed some number of times, 1000, 2000, I can't say for sure. If you hover your mouse over the number, a popup will show you haw many confirmations you have and how many more are needed. These numbers seem to change for every stake so all you can really do is wait it out.

If you hover your mouse over the crossed picks, bottom right of the wallet, what does it say?

jonathin.r, do you try to drink soothing? Or may be simple you need to jerk off to calm down a little?)

Definitely no more than you need to start asking yourself why you are doing what you are doing.

The developer is still active here. He may not be saying anything, but his profile shows that the last time he was active was today at 9:15PM PST.

Joe, please say something. Even if you're planning to drop out of this project, just please let us know. Times are dire for the Magi coin.

Edit: Here come the orphaned blocks! It seems like Block #1798886 just went to 98mtjupFJJR2b8EWMfP3jsxRQGGb9FYfFT, which appears to be our neighborhood hacker.

I haven't found an understandable answer for me yet on POS.

If I leave my wallet open for staking during the day, but close it at night when I turn off my PC, am I just wasting my time?  Does the staking reset to zero and I am starting over when I reopen in the morning?

Better keep the wallet online, unfortunately coin age is not stopping to count when you turn off your pc, but I think it could be good feature. But as you see the dev is sleeping or smth.

Well, I'm willing to keep my wallet open to support the network while my computer is normally on, but I won't do it at night when it is normally turned off just to make next to nothing in xmg through staking.  Maybe a dev could comment on this?

Hey, the coin age is linked to the block chain instead of a wallet which is why in increases when your PC is off. Each new block that is confirmed increases all coin age by 1

I do the same - the only problem I have is when there are windows updates and I don't notice - I need to move onto a Linux wallet solution sometime in the future to counteract that - possibly going to build a docker swam based on a cube of pi's - but need to be motivated enough to put it all together and build the wallets for docker.
