Bitrex was on block 1805685 less then a minute ago.

Inactive    XMG    1805685    12    0 minutes    Thu May 03 2018 18:09:36 GMT+1000

The BTC-XVC market will remain offline due to a network attack and will be removed on May 11, 2018

Perhaps it should be requested to include XMG as well until such time a fix is in place and a term of "stability"? Not just from bittrex but the other exchanges as well.

Well considering the volumes for Magi on Bittrex and now this attack with the split ... A very good reason for Bittrex to simply just remove it by delisting Magi altogether.
No headackes then for them.

Indeed. However being merely inactive, should the chain split merge/sync/whatever the proper term is, transactions will more than likely resume at that time.

If bittrex were to straight delis Cryptopia, TradeSatoshi, and any other possible exchanges would become the next target if not delisted there.

Remove the carrot, so to say.

Regardless which fork the MAGI is going for, the Cryptopia is definitely not on the same as the prevailing fork, a large amount of XMG deposited, sold and withdrawn there might be invalidated; the exchange might lose money.  And you know what they are going to do from their end. Roll Eyes

Blockchain splits on PoS and it has been related to the recent issue. We've sent out requests to put wallet into maintenance mode few days ago; Bittrex did so which made them be not affected.

I'll be uploading blockchain data, or people can connect to 104.128.225.215, and will post test regarding the current issue.

We do be aware of the situation, and try as much as possible to bring back normal operation, and fix the PoS issue.

Well the price would go below 1k for sure and don't think is will be still profitable for Vitalik to carry on. Nevertheless if Bittrex removes Magi we can then consider it a dead coin and a simple side-project for Joe.
There will be no buyers on those exchanges and overall.

I don't get it. I admit that i am into blockchains only for past few months but on http://h2767584.stratoserver.net mining pool we've just mined block 1811995. Does it mean that blockchain you are talking about is far ahead from blockchain used by this pool? How can this be possible? Am I something fundamental missing? Please explain somebody. Thanks

Anyway I wish devs to find a quick and easy fix.

Minerclaim's update
Update: 05/05 06:00PM (UTC+1) - In discussion with the magi developers we decided to deactivate mining for the next hours. Magi developers working on a fix. Blocks found within 2 hours after block #1812479 will not be paid out unfortunately.

Something seems odd with Trasmamod tho. I am on there and have 30+ coins unconfirmed since this morning.....Was only ever mining about a coin every other day...
