For small celebration I set up a faucet:  http://faucet.halcyon.pw/ for new users. IRC bot soon.

Also the wiki is live, I will start populating it soon, some members of community have offered to help too:

http://wiki.halcyon.pw/

Working on anon infographic while coding the anon system and price ticker widget for HAL, per roadmap.

Added bonus I intend to release paper wallet today or tomorrow, community member has dedicated some time.

POW over! More later today or tonight.

Thanks SkyValley for the chart, looks great!   https://cryptrader.com/charts/bittrex/hal/btc

Miners dumping this coin at end of PoW is interesting. I understand they have to pay the the bills but when they dump and the buy wall fills back up immediately....there's definitely something to be noted about that. I've got my feet in the water. Time to get these coins off the exchange, begin staking, and for devs to stay active and on top of timelines.  Good luck all. If you need beta testers or anything PM me I'm down for the cause.  Wink

Im baaaack! Looking for sig campaign. DM me if interested.

Theres definitely bots doing their thing, but soon than later someone with deep pockets will come and shred the order book when this little/final pow dump is over feeding the bottom the feeders. Hopefully it comes at a time when the dev team has shown improvements and it stabilizes on a spike. HAL is, in my opinion, a true sleeper ALT.

Edit: Jumps 12% as I wrote that lol

I'll look into getting one created but right now I'm very busy. If a member of the community would step up and help with this it would help a lot!

I forgot to mention, only 1.62 million coins exist in POW.

I said this before in posts, to prove the truth and honesty of the project, I've been reaching out to other respected developers in the cryptocurrency community, to have our anonymous code (work in progress) reviewed so we can prove our mission. This will likely be done via a screen share. I've tried to contact the two largest anon projects with the developers who use the real ID to give us a review, I've received a reply from one.

Ill ask a buddy of mine if he'll do it. Im sure it'd be a walk in the park for him if hes not over loaded with projects.

EDIT: Declined. He's busy but maybe contact http://bitinfocharts.com/ ? Seems like they have a lot of the coins 100 richest addresses

I'm busy working on the infographic and programming, but I just had this conversation in IRC and thought it would be good to share here.

If you want to join come to irc.freenode.net #halcyondays

5:42 PM <Charles_the_Gowl> Can you tell me about the Nootropic partnership that's you are looking to set up?
7:17 PM <Googs84> i bought some HAL see where it goes whitepaper is interesting
10:24 PM  → Byron, nemezanimavai and brandondoge joined  ⇐ reggae_, gnomes and laoZi quit
9:46 PM <HalcyonDev> Googs84: im asking another anon developer to review my code so far so people know the anon system is for real
9:47 PM <HalcyonDev> hes considering it but a bit wary because his community gets upset when he does so for other coins
9:47 PM <Charles_the_Gowl> Can you tell me about the Nootropic partnership that's you are looking to set up?
9:47 PM <HalcyonDev> Charles_the_Gowl: trying to decide if i should act as reseller for an established website company or purchase a view products and resell them ourselves
9:48 PM <HalcyonDev> they are legal, but I have to check more on the laws regarding nutritional supplements. it will be easier to act as a reseller, i'm in talks with a few small companies online
9:49 PM <Charles_the_Gowl> Interesting. There would be a lot less risk being a reseller.
9:49 PM <HalcyonDev> it will be like any other store, but that users can pay in HAL, tied to current exchange rate
9:49 PM <HalcyonDev> agreed
9:50 PM <Byron> I was into Nootropics a great deal a few years back
9:50 PM <Byron> Have they come further?
9:52 PM <HalcyonDev> not sure, im interested in first offering aniracetam, choline, noopept, oxiracetam, and piracetam
9:52 PM <Byron> Ahh so piracetam still is popluar
9:52 PM <HalcyonDev> yes its considered one of the mild ones
9:52 PM <HalcyonDev> not many immediate effects
9:53 PM <Byron> Its good to see that they didn't change laws on it
9:53 PM <Byron> The main issue is the source where you get it
9:53 PM <Byron> China is iffy IMO
9:53 PM <HalcyonDev> yeah
9:53 PM <Byron> I wish we had certifications regarding this but they are unregulated
9:54 PM <HalcyonDev> i'll likely act as a reseller and be transparent about who im reselling for so people can check their certificates and suppliers and such
9:54 PM <HalcyonDev> im not doing it to profit on the store itself but to bring more value to the coin
9:54 PM <HalcyonDev> so profit margin is unimportant to me
9:54 PM <Byron> Awesome idea
9:56 PM <Byron> How does your logo tie in with the nootropics?
9:56 PM <Byron> Or it was just something you liked?
9:57 PM Charles_the_Gowl → ProfBitcorn
9:57 PM <HalcyonDev> i guess it was more something i liked, that looked interesting
9:57 PM <Byron> Cool
9:57 PM <HalcyonDev> also halcyon is a bird in greek mythology that brought happy days in the middle of hard times
9:58 PM <HalcyonDev> and i released the coin when the market was bleeding out badly
9:58 PM <HalcyonDev> Smiley
9:58 PM <Byron> and the meaning of the name is cool
9:58 PM <Byron> Im sure most won't look deep into things like me
9:58 PM <Byron> It fits perfectly
10:02 PM <HalcyonDev> nice to hear
10:02 PM <HalcyonDev> well im going to get back to work finishing up this infographic for the anonymous system and then continue programming, nice talking to you
