I might do that. I just thought someone might know the correct way.

If TwoTurtles doesn't mind, I may just send an email asking how it is done.

Joe

Yes maybe we can contact syntaks (twoturtle) about a promotion/marketing team.

Cause he is way too busy with coding for a while, i just advice to ask him what he preffer on

IRC #Neoscoin , we are there mostly.

Kind regards

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

What blows my mind is this. Who sits there and looks at this thread and says, well this one doesn't look too great, I better sell for a loss before I lose anymore?

Who could look at what is going on with this coin, and dev, and think ANYHTING bad about it? It's just mindblowing how stupid people are!!

I agree totally, they invest into something they KNOW is released long in advance..
This developers is awesomesauce, look how fast they solved the blockchains difficulty adjustment bug, i was truly impressed!
Been buying some and gonna buy some more.

Kahir - Scamming dev of Rebirthcoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=798159.msg8977686#msg8977686 gets a free happy meal!!

There is no reason Neoscoin cannot hit the same price and marketcap as bitcoindark, in fact the 2 coins share many similar positive qualities. I don't own any btcd, obviously I support Neos as it's more my style but this coin is currently way undervalued. Maybe Syntaks and the other devs spoiled people by giving them more than other coins will ever do right from launch? Wake up traders, whales Neoscoin is easily top 5 material!

I agree its way undervalued , what i like cause bought enough now Wink . It just need time.

Btcd is pretty nice, but i like Neos more , great dev. and also no POS , lots of pos coins give troubles but on the other hand make ppl stack there coins away. But we dont want them to be stacked away they will go to China,Europe,America even the Netherlands Wink.

I think if it hits anywhere near BTCD levels, you will have a lot of very happy people.

My issue with Altcoins is that there are so many people that treat it is as an attempt to make a quick profit and nothing more. But if you can change that balance so people see its true value and want to accumulate and spend, you change peoples perception and ultimately the value goes way up.

My own personal opinion is that at some stage BTC will become very valuable, so buying small bits will become to costly and those who have accumulated BTC won't want to part with it too easily. So strong Altcoins will become the currency that people want to use. Can there be more than one, of course. But it needs strong backing and of course the general public need to understand what can be done with it and made easy for them to use.

This is why I like NEOS. There is transparency, we have contact with the DEV and we know what is going on. For me as an investor right now, that is crucial.

Two things:

1. Chrome on Windows 8.1 flags the "windows.zip" binary archive as possible malware.  It says "Windows isnt normally downloaded."  This needs to be changed to a version controlled file name.  I suggest something like "Neos_v1.0.0_Win.zip"  I know its a bit pedantic, but this would be disconcerting to a more general user.  I also know it made me hesitate.

I just renamed it.  Good thought and thanks.

2. I get nothing but a solid webpage when I go to 127.0.0.1:18000
I have the wallet running from a mounted drive, if that makes any difference.  Only one error is coming up, but the server appears to be running ok.

The question is did you move anything around or modify your neoscoin.conf?  Worst-case scenario if you'd like I could teamview in and see what's doin.  I don't mind at all.

     Best regards,

syntaks

I don't see a neoscoin.conf file as part of the windows zip archive.  I am using a version of SPH-Sgminer with the Darkcoin kernel to mine X11.  It seems to be working for Neos, as well as it ever has for Drk.  I am using CGWatcher to control the miner, and the usual API control is there.

I will say this with the utmost respect but moreso for my community - do NOT download this file.  Everything wallet-related can be found at neoscoin.com.  UGETHIT, don't screw with my community.  Do not trust this file folks.  I haven't downloaded it, but we host our own wallet, on our own damned site.

I wouldn't mind that one bit at all but it's my job to do that.  You could e-mail them also though if you felt like as I'm sure the more support that came in for a particular currency the better!

I'm not asking this to hurry you, as I know you're working hard, but do you have an ETA for the Mountain Lion wallet? I'd like to withdraw my NEOS asap.
