Community,
I suggest we tip exclusively with shadowsend.
So those who wanna play with Shadow should create a new stealth address in their SDC wallets (v1.3.0.6, see OP) and submit those addys instead of SDC addys. Since dadon was kind enough to send me 100sdc earlier I will send these to my own stealth/shadow addy now (thus creating shadow tokens), and send Shadow to those who submit a stealth addy.
SO a Shadow>Shadow zero knowledge transaction…
Witness the power of the Shadow! Pls Explain me. There are 2 kinds of SDCs ? I have the latest version of wallet, do I have to create another address ? What are Shadow tokens ? The Shadow tokens are why most of us are here… Set up a stealth addy, post it here and continue reading. Did u check the whitepaper yet? UPDATE: I have now created 95 Shadow tokens ready for some lucky noobs to receive (compliments of dadon, and yes i kept 5 of the 100 for myself ) Could I have a quick explanation pls ? When I select "SDC>Shadow" in my wallet as a sending option SDC are destroyed to create Shadow tokens. Shadow tokens are invisible (do not exist) on the blockchain. If you give me a Stealth addy we can now send Shadow>Shadow which is completely anonymous. You can keep the Shadow tokens once received or convert some or all at a time of your choosing back into SDC. Read the whitepaper please.

your welcome my brother stick around here i love your and attitude you are very grateful and it's a breath of fresh air, skip60 is a also a good bloke, skip if your reading this all will be good, just relax brother IMO SDC is like BTC was in the early days patience will pay off, buying SDC is like a time machine back to BTC at 10c.
Dadon is the fellow that introduced me to this project while he was trolling in the XC thread (I kid, you were just shedding some light). Solid suggestion thus far. Hahaha wasn't trolling bro i was heavily invested in XC and still am, still have around 60k, just lost a little faith that's all, but glad too see your still here and holding happy new year bro. i know you werent trolling... People in that thread beat you up when you introduced the word shadow into the thread. I was like WTF the guy is just trying to share another project that will potentially help get more XC. After seeing the PR guy becoming sort of a over promise under deliver type a guy I bailed and went all in on Shadow. I got out around $.75. Now I just need to keep accumulating more shadow. -Nick- Good on you bro it was clear SDC was the better project, just hard to accept for some SDC is still cheap i'm felling generous wallet? SY1y7zqRCZ1gvzj7MG6KVC2pMWtV9irb8s thank you good sir Stealth/Shadow addys from now on please

This also worked for me. Seemed like there was a nasty fork or something yesterday. Still the network weight right now seems much lower than usual, making me think the problem is widespread. Maybe also why the exchanges have SDC in maintenance right now. Hope all is well.

Yeah, I'm craving to try it out for sometime now. Let's do this: SexhopquwL4w2F6V1xzyyEnqssnATmUeWN (Pubkey: vaehtPgJks23MtXfAuboJxRddExkL5S9F5jLyRw879QC) ^ oh yeah, sexhop, that's right (gotta love this address) try this, go to help tab in wallet, click on debug window, click console, type rewindchain 249000, press enter and leave it for a bit, rhyno gave me these commands and they worked for me.

This should deserve its own place in website FAQ, don't you think? http://www.shadowtalk.org/topic/306/faq-for-shadow-s-websiteEDIT: I had problems with sync as well, but leaving Thin mode did the trick for me. Since then, I'm in sync w/o probs.

Thx ! Now how can I transform the shadows into SDC ?
Create a Stealth Address, then in the "Send" tab choose the option Shadow-to-SDC then just send to that address.

First you'll notice a Shadow balance in your Overview page in your wallet… nobody except you knows how much that balance is… Should you wish to convert back to SDC (altho I see no reason why you'd want to unless you wish to transfer the coins to an exchange or merchant who does not accept anon transaction) simply select the Shadow>SDC send option in your wallet and send the Shadow to one of your SDC addresses. Done. @Coolstoryteller - he already has a stealth addy ofc since he received Shadow! Plus if he's sending Shadow>SDC he enters an SDC addy iirc

I actually need to send the shadows to a stealth addy. But wallet keeps telling me ring size is not good. What ring size should I specify ?
My bad. In fact u do require a stealth addy to convert Shadow back to SDC. To answer your q I'd try hitting the "suggest ring size" button with will dynamically change the ring size value before you hit send. Give that a go.

I've also been experiencing this. Especially with larger amounts of shadow.

Only 0 anonymous outputs exist for coin value: 8.00000000 I only have 8 shadows You can easily convert your SDC (if you have any) to Shadow: send your SDC to your Shadow address (make sure you have [SDC to Shadow] selected).

Bear in mind this is not good practice iirc. i.e. try converting shadow to sdc but only convert a portion of your Shadow (not all)
