Looks like we have a short term reversal. Xmr is holding very well in the midst of the btc recovery. I expect ath 0.023 in the next month.

that would be a ~ 1 month high, not ATH.  ATH is currently 0.0265 from about 7 months ago.  It was due yesterday, but for some unfathomable reason, rangedriver missed the timing.  I know.  I can't believe it either.

So looks like Dark Coin aka Dash has now come back down for about 1/3 of the pump.

You guys think the DashMasters still have some ammo to play with in their game?

Is it gonna be a slow bleed back for the rest of the 2/3rds?

OR will we see a fast dump sometime soon?  Tongue

Slow bleed back.

The bigger shorters have been properly burned (their closing buys made the top between 100 and 120$) and they will not be going back in anytime soon. Therefore the price can slide slowly without 'passengers', and without wild swings as shorts won't come in and out.

Slow bleed, so far, looks like about right... it was at 1/3 when I wrote the above, and as of today about halfway now.

Wish I was brave enough to short this shit back the rest of the way but LOL what aminorex said about just feeling slimy dealing *at all* with any of this is right on point & principle too.

Better just sit back & watch the sideshow and hopefully just enjoy the inevitable XMR improvement rising.

That's right.  keep your hands clean.

Damn, I got 'Litecoin professional'  I hold zero LTC.  I was hoping for a more interesting one than that!  Had my fingers crossed for XMR fanboy Wink

At least you didn't get "Dash flunky".

LOL - true, I would have had to hide away for 24 hours....

Naturally, you're all forgetting that scientists are 25 years away from creating the first molecular assemblers, and 100 years away from creating the first atomic assemblers.

In the first instance, molecular assembly, it is indeed possible to 'photocopy' and 'assemble' any material object providing you have the necessary starting elements. In any capacity (including weaponised and/or generated from the funds of national governments) this would inevitably lead to economic catastophe by way of the ease in being able to 'print' unlimited amounts of paper money, along with other intricate valuables, while leaving only the elements themselves (most notably gold and silver).

This is 25 years away.

In the second instance, atomic assembly, there is no need even for a portfolio of base elements as each atom would be generated from a standard abundant element as required (e.g oxygen etc). In this scenario, neither gold or silver is spared from replication, thus leading to total material-as-storage-of-wealth destruction, and while this would theoretically lead to a 'post-scarity economy' of infinite material abundance, it would still leave a gaping hole for economies that cover the service sectors and any other human faculty of labour not represented by physical things (e.g governence).. hence, the global monopolisation of crypto-currencies, as theoretical stores of wealth that are immune from replication.

So yea... Bitcoin... Monero... Good time to buy.

Happy Saturday Everyone.

http://physicsworld.com/cws/article/news/2016/nov/07/atom-assembler-makes-defect-free-arrays

Don't underestimate the race for molecular and/or atomic assembly. Very much like the pursuit of atomic weapons, the entity that cracks this science will inherit the earth... and gold and silver will be worth nada.

There is literally no substitute for wealth storage that is immune from replication. All that remains is how quickly the masses start to understand and pre-empt this, while adjusting their positions accordingly.

Not at all. Price was from $18-25. I guess that is normal Monero price. Nothing unexpected happened. Development is just steady and solid. Yes there was successful launch of GUI2, but that was expected.

thats exactly what i meant. Like Moneros next Bullrun is still due to come. I could be very very wrong (probably)  but it just feels like Monero could really shock in April May when let loose. But who knows these days  Smiley

Still waiting on a good reentry point. I goofed, put in a lowball for ripple (shitscamcoin-but thought it was gonna spike) the order never got filled and it's up 170% today. Shit! Well I shorted it lets see what happens. Smiley I'm tying to build up some BTC for re-entry by trading these shitcoins, they are massively swinging these days. The dash short I made was fun, I bailed though as I didn't want to get squeezed in that clusterfuck of a market.

I'm calling the Monster Dash P&D "The great Masternode exit scam". Smiley

GOD bad time to short it! just went from 5k to 6.4k, low of 2k yesterday. I think I'm gonna get Rekt. Cheesy

over 7k.  Pretty much rekt Poloniex, they can't handle the traffic.  It is madness there.  Monero just keeps chugging along a downward channel, no drama.

I think it's a DDos at the same time the squeeze hit and apparently there were no confirms and people couldn't close positions. I decided to ride it out and went back into the black before another squeeze hit so I'm still waiting it out. My position is small and It would have to double for me to get called.

If it keeps going I would not be surprised if other groups took advantage of this to crush shorts. Smiley

Saw in the TB active traders was up to over 20000 from yesterdays ~8000. That and 115k btc 24h volume on cRipple alone made their systems choke.  There's some really upset people over there.

Monero in 6th position on volume chart is pretty weird to see.  I don't ever recall seeing it that low before.

I believe monero will correct to 152 -162 over the next week. View the long term chart and we can see that all alts need a strong correction.

The only thing expected is that you will have  a new prediction in 2 days hours.

Just out of curiosity, as Icey does not want to answer my questions in his favorite thread (DASH ANN):

Now that DASH/XMR has crashed, have the CON holders been wiped out?
Or would XMR/DASH have to crash and how does that scheme work?
